    Orbea Gain auxiliary battery

An extortionate price for a battery case that holds 20 18650's at best total cell price will be about £100 plus a bms, tis the price you have to suffer for having a bespoke small power supply. P.s Battery is only 5.8ah 10s2p so 2900mah cells, probbaly PF's in which case cells are about £60...

    Throttle ?

Is that the rack battery in #1 ? if so you may be lucky an find an unused 3 pin connector. If there is no spare connector then you can't wire a throttle in as the pcb will not be programmed for one.

    Yosepower hub kits.

Yes that is what I did, I got the 36v hub kit without battery and over volted it @48v. 36v run at 48v gives you 33% more speed and torque increase. Your 48v motor in the 26" rim you can get /have rebuilt in to a 27.5 rim save buying another kit.

    Yosepower hub kits.

I don't use Julet cabling, I still use the older JST flat style connectors. Originally I use the KT dual volt 6 fet 20a model but it now and then got hot and thermally cut out, when cooled down it worked again. I added a heat sink and 5v mini fans with a small 18650 2p battery which kept it...

Yes you need the no light version is has 8 pin display lead connection for the 1T4 cable. The pas 3 pin yellow julet is standard as is the 9 pin motor connector. The only thin gyou will have to change/adapt is the battery connection.

The tale of a £100 second hand electric bike.

David Fairclough remember him from the 70's, fantastic sub to bring on. Sadly back in the day he never qualified for many winners medals as he never started enough games.

    Throttle ?

Follow the wire from the hub motor it will go to a controller box, either mounted on the seat post or next to the battery. If a rack battery controller may well be at the front of the battery or if the battery is a down tube mounted one mounted on the base of the batteries receiver. The handle...

    Yosepower hub kits.

When I looked earlier the SW was out of stock, looks like they have restocked. Go for 22a @48v which is about 850w inc ineffiency loses at the motor, to many watts and the nylon gears of the clutch may get very warm and then they fail. No one yet has reported on here of any major issues witht...

    Wisper 905 se battery fault.

Likely it is out of balance and there is a cell group that is low so prevents charging. Leaving batteries for a long time withut use is detrimental. Speak to Wisper first befor doing any thing , they and only they can open it without affecting any warranty.

    Yosepower hub kits.

Yes the 22 & 25a are both dual voltage, they are ideal for 36v use. At 48v they might be a step to far for the Yose at full whack/continuous amps.

    Throttle ?

A common mistake calling the lcd/display a controller. The controller you need to find is the one which the battery feed and motor wire lead go to, so follow the wiring from those until you get to the metal/ali boxed controller which has the pcb inside. Take a clear pic or two of any unused...

    Help! Motor Connectors

With the MT60 there is no need to insulate as there is an insulator end that is supplied with wire compartments for separation.. The male/female connector only has one orientation of fitting so make sure you get the second connector wired up correctly before soldering. You don't need a very...

KT sine wave controller- how to make unrestricted??

It's finding out which/what is limiting the speed, if it is controller next step if finding a correct aftermarket KT controller with the correct connectors. I assume are all Julet so you need to be careful as some use 8 pin or 9pin interface connector from the controller for the display etc...

KT sine wave controller- how to make unrestricted??

As it is for a wheel chair my guess is that the controller or lcd are programmed to be legal for the wheel chair use which I think is about 8- 10mph max. The controller/lcd although Keunteng will likely be a customer customised programmed version not available through normal channels. The other...

    Help! Motor Connectors

100a may be wishful thinking and isn't a continuous rating, the XT/MT60 handles less current then the larger XT90 which is rated for 90a continuous. The continuous rating is in the product numbering; XT30 30a XT60 60a XT90 90a A higher peak rating can be used for shorter bursts.

    Yosepower hub kits.

No quite the opposite you can reduce the current easier by a press of a few buttons to suit the battery you are using, it is easier and safer then doing the mod shunt to increase current. Also now 9 fet signwave controllers are available so will ot have the heat issues so much as the 6 fet ones...
