Yose power freezes/crashes with brake sensors

Look at the wire joint you made, are thye singularly insulated and not shorting. For the Yose kit and any kit with brake levers, you have to carefully cut the ali lever a part to get the sensor wire complete then you can quite easily fix one to a hdb to make it work. You only need one to work...

Electric Kit for Whyte Suffolk 2017

There are ways to adopt brake cut offs for hydraulic and you only need to fit one, how you go about it depends on the design/actuation of your hdb. I carefully butcher the lever for the complete wired push sensor, attach it with epoxy (gorilla) to the brake body and fashion a small right...

Yose power freezes/crashes with brake sensors

How many pins for brakes on the 1T4 cable , 2 or 3 ? Controller warm to the touch is normal esp in warm weather, if it gets vey hot to the touch then it needs more cooling as it will suffer from thermal cut out until it cools.

    What's the most efficient speed?

The most efficient speed is the one you can maintain above the cut off speed, then you will be only inputting your own watts. Today I covered 162km/101 miles with my Yose powered Boardman and according to the watt meter I managed a respectable 9wh/m, my cut off is 33km/h / 20.5mph which is...

    10 speed with hydraulic discs

If the stack height of 10-sp is the same as 9-sp then any CST hubs will be ok. If not fitting a throttle then no need to bother with cut out's. Woosh or Yose CST kits.

    Yosepower Kits

Have a look on Topbikekit or troll through Aliexpress, you may find one with the correct Julet's you need. Amp rating of controller can be what you like 15 - 25a, C3 parameter allows you to decrease the amps. More amps gives you more torque/acceleration though at the expense of range.

    Yosepower hub kits.

If you get a sparks and a bang then the polarity is wrong some where, other wise I would think there must be a fault with the 1t4 trunk cable causing an issue. You will need to contact Yose who appear to be good at standing by there product and will likely send out replacement controller/trunk...

It will boil down to the bms rating but even if it is only 20a continuous most will have a peak discharge rating to handle temporary higher loading for 10- 30sec's.

    Help! bbshd ,battery? issue

All the ones I have with a switch is for a bms switch and are wired so, needs to be on for charging. If the bms isn't on then charging/balancing doesn't occur correctly, it by passes the balancing affect. Likely battery is well balanced ( individual cell string voltages will tell you that). If...

    Help! bbshd ,battery? issue

If one cell string is out of kilter and say 0.4 - 0.6v out of balance then it won't balance straight away and may even remain out of balance after several full charges. Could also be that you need to check all 14 cell string voltages via the BMS JST connection and if necessary raise any strings...

    Help! bbshd ,battery? issue

Going to 41v is low and just above 2.9v per cell, ideally 3.2v is the min you should try and aim for.

    Yosepower hub kits.

If you are using the Yose triangle bag is should fit in, as mentioned physically it is a little larger dimensionally. You will have the choice of using 36 or 48v battery with it, at 36v/22a the Yose cst will handle the wattage and probably may do at 48v. The most I have tried at 48v is 20a...
