I thought so, you would still have the same issue as in #11 of unequal power via the series strips, the copper being a far better conductor both strips will draw current from the middle cell and less from the outer cell. You want equal even flow from the P & S buss's with higher rated cells...

Out of luck there all new bikes after 2016 either won't have throttle or if configured to have one requires the rider to pedal for activation. You will most certainly be looking at a hub drive bike pre 2016 or a kit package.

I suspect any info is contained in those two micro processors (lhs upr & lwr) so if any voltage imbalance/disconnection is felt they cause the bms shutdown.

Don't see the point in bothering, just get a restricted legal bike. Any s-ped is still illegal whether restricted or not.

I believe the bms needs to be connected to a power source before old cells can be disconnected so wiring a temp source in parallel keeps the bms alive without the need for reprogramming.

On the bike the LCD has a time out and will auto shut down, the battery standing alone must be also have a similar auto shut down though may be a secondary pcb board inside.

Head winds are a killer if using timing as a means of improvement.

TBH not a lot to see there as to much wiring in the way and not enough clarity of any wire endings, I was in particular looking for a single linked wire or possibly a potentiometer but from what can be seen I expect the speed may be software limited.

It may be controller software that doesn't allow a faster speed, show us a pic of all controller wiring as there may be something there.
