    PSWPower after sales service?

Depends on whether you want hub or mid drive. Woosh sell the 250w GSM mid drive with out controller, so couple that with a 36 or 48v one for a diy build. You can over volt or apply more amps to 250w/350w hubs but it doesn't work with mid drive with integrated controllers. 48v & 20a is limit...

    PSWPower after sales service?

d8veh wasn't banned but left of his own free will and asked for his account to be deleted. Not 100% sure why, was either a disagreement with others or wasn't happy with the tone of some forum members.

    Help with my trike

The 12 pole disc will give smoother pas pick up, also depending on the controller an inferior disc pole count may not work unless the controllers parameters can be changed. The 12 pole version isn't available on the cheap listing.

Which e-bike for the wife? (Bosch motor Qs)

Range/mileage figures can give someone a false idea of which bike to buy as too many variables are involved. Not using assisted powered for an our of a ride will vastly affect range calcs ( most buy a bike for the assistance not the non assistance), speed, weather, conditions, rider...

Not quite an ebike but close enough?

If lithium a generic one should be available on ebay or if you want something a bit more pricey use a meanwell HLG/CLG as used to led lights. Pointless charging under the balance charge (unless you use a smart bms) as cells may wander a little and become unbalanced. My routine is to leave all...

Not quite an ebike but close enough?

Welcome Steve and a happy new year to you. We have a couple of wheel chairs users going the add on route, just fire away with an Q's or issues you have. In principle the conversions are the same, just without the use of pas levels.

    PSWPower after sales service?

Never had the need to return anything but for kit's use a UK seller like Woosh or abroad use Yose power both are good with replacements.

Can you change your Ah when you get a replacement battery?

Yes, it will give a bit more range depending on how many more ah's. If the cells are better also improoved performance,

    Yosepower hub kits.

You might have long wait or a flat Gopro:rolleyes:. Hubs can stand quite a bit of abuse before imploding , batteries are usually fine unless you abuse them physically. An SWXH can take 40a @ 15s/ 54v nom with oil cooling , you will have little problem with a Yose.

    New ebiker need an advice

With only a 3p cell config then the choice of cell has to be a very good cell, MJ1 or GA would give 10.4ah/374wh @36v or 499wh @48v which is a no brainer. With so many variables it will boil down to distance ,weight etc and with head winds the more ah/wh the better.

    New ebiker need an advice

Depending on the items /weight that Mark is going to carry a decision of drive then can be thought about. Hubs are pretty much faultless esp a good branded one like a Bafang, Mxus or Yose all in a CST model so he can keep his rear cassette and front gears. Hub kits can be selected with...

    New ebiker need an advice

How far, how heavy ? Whether hub or mid drive both are heavy to ride unpowered. 48v kit will supply more wh for the same capacity battery so range will be up to 33% better. Depending on range you might be better with two smaller battery packs and change over during your day.

    Yosepower hub kits.

My hub is still going fine and @48v. Although I have no worries about the hub taking 800w at times, I my tinker a bit more and thinking about introducing oil cooling with addition of 30- 40ml of ATF or 10ml Ferro.

    Yosepower hub kits.

 48v oh you naughty boy :D. Watch out as new forum doom and gloom merchants will likely tell you of crashing and burning and how you will not get any advantage in doing so, sadly it sounds like they have never actually tried yet and continue to read from their theory books.

    1kw D/D hub issues

Have you confirmed battery output voltage with multimeter as Wheelipete has said if lcd not switching then either voltage not getting through or something is wired incorrectly. An actual link to the kit ?

    LCD S866 + Brainpower controller

Only sensored hubs have internal speed wire , all my sensored hubs have the white wire as do may others, you have to buy the correct one to start with. When buying a hub if it has a 9 pin motor cable then it will have a speed sensor, older motors which only have a 8 pin cable will not have a...

    Battery decision

Current doesn't need to be increased, simply by overvolting 36v to 48v not only increases hub/bike speed if required but also increases the watts output by 33% at the wheel so gives a nice bonus/increase in torque for inclines esp when used with 5 levels of pas.

    Battery decision

We all can argue the toss about over volting hubs all day long, what may not be theoretical to do and what practically can be done are two different things. For many years hub have been over volted some do fail, usually because to much power(watts) have been put through them. Cwah has a few...

You should start a new thread about your 1kw D/D hub issues and not on this thread which is about a different type of hub motor/kit.
