    Help needed with Usprite UM44

Controllers used have different programming them normal pas type controllers. Any bike with an OEM (Original equipment manufacturer) product is stuck with trying to get one thru warranty or via supplier which is most unlikely. Does the bike have throttle ? Controllers don't often go wrong...

Decathlon Btwin Tilt folding e-Bike 500E

You can't do anything with an led so we need to see clear pics of the controller and all of the wiring reasonably set out to see them clearly , a pic of the main controller label to try and identify it. Most likely no more speed can be got from the oem set up but we won't know for sure with out...

Do we have a “Volt” bike representative among us?

I wonder if most of these packs is down to having faulty bms or wiring. On ES there is a guy from the EU who cells copious amounts of ex Bosch cell packs, not just one specific cell type but often has 5 or 6 different bare cell packs available for a very good price. They are all welded together.

    Battery storage/charging

Yes. That is what I do. Voltage doesn't have to be on the dot, 49.5 -50v is fine for 13s/48v.

    Yosepower hub kits.

The D12L indicates that it is left fitting to work but pretty sure it will work on the rhs, you may have to reverse the magnets or orientate the sensor 180 degrees. Wire it in and then manually pass the disc by the sensor to test before fitting to check operation.

    Yosepower hub kits.

Both will work with KT controllers or any controller as long as the wire sequence is correct. You most likely will have to set C1 to 1,2 or 3. The speed sensor is standard King meter offering and will work as long as the wiring sequence is correct. To use the hub/controller with no lcd, the...

    Kalkhoff/Panasonic charger

I have never tried or tested the 26v Panasonic, but most chargers will show max voltage output at the charge lead. 24v would show 29.4v 36v shows 42v. 48v shows 54.6v.

    Focus TEC Battery system

A twin battery set up probably similar to the R & M Bosch system most likely. Although you would have double the energy for longer rides the system most likely only draws power from each battery only one at a time in stages switching between each other. If they were run in direct parallel then...

Advice for someone looking for an ekit

The 250w marking is a compliance that it has passed industry testing for the rating at a 1hr continuous test and doesn't over heat at that wattage output. In the example below only in PAS 5 does it exceed 250w output. In pas 5 the controller will deliver max amps much the same as the throttle...

    Going round in circles!

Hub axles are 12 x 10 mm, most trailer hitch's are for 9mm QR type axles. You would need to find out whether a hitch would work as most hub axles are tight on axle length with little or none left showing once fitted and a torque arm is fitted.

Cyclone 500W, what battery in UK?

Controller is blown, remove it. Depending where the controller is sited you may need to extend the phase wires 14 (32a) or 12awg (41a) silicone wire. Don't forget it is 36/48 dual voltage controller, so you will need another 12v battery to run in series to get 36v. Throttle should work if it...

    Going round in circles!

By what attachment method do you use for the trailer ? BPM front not ideal for towing as it will be lighter and more skittish /wheel spin. Battery will easily fit in triangle of first bike. Step through has curve down tube so not ideal, battery base plate no doubt can be bolted to top of rear...

    Oxydrive kits

You would have to remove the controller from the mounting base unit to make use of it. The + & - wire tails inside then need extending/soldering to reach the ext controller ones. Existing one will go up in smoke if you connect 48v to it.

Cyclone 500W, what battery in UK?

The Cyclone was about 24a, so 20 - 30a will be fine. As mentioned earlier not all sensored controllers will run unsensored, you should contact vendors to ask. The KT one earlier in the thread w e know works ok for both.

Advice for someone looking for an ekit

All 250w rated motors can output many more watts at the motor via the controller. As an example we will use the SWXO2 though could be any good hub. Controller rating is 17a, battery nominal voltage is 48v. 17a x 48v = 816 watts. The controller can output 816w max to the hub. Hubs are about 80%...

Cyclone 500W, what battery in UK?

The ebay link is for both brushed and brushless, the brushless is only 13a a bit weedy though should work. We can show you how to do a shunt mod and increase amps by approx. 25% to about 16/17a. They don't work without lcd or led display so you have to join/short two pairs of wires together on...

Cyclone 500W, what battery in UK?

Sensor less = Square wave. Sensored = Sine wave Some Sinewave will work unsensored.

Do we have a “Volt” bike representative among us?

Li po pouch's not li on cells. Undo the end screws and gently pull the end off if a wire is loose you may well notice it. If it's not working then no harm will be done by looking. In it's current state most likely not wise to mail/courier it. Do you own a volt meter ?
