Be careful there;s not much leeway for fitting BBSxx with carbon BB if there is too much material thickness. A brief look at your pic seems to suggest you will be alright.

Not sure there's much you can do inside the controller as it is all programmed. Try showing us a little more detail of the wiring coming out of it, is there a small potentiometer at all or any wire connectors coupled together ?

I would think the controller is 7a rated so 14/15a max. Any battery greater then 10ah will be ok, but the more ah usually the better as cells will be less stressed and range will be that much better. A 17.5ah/630wh shaped 09/ Dolphin battery with LG cells can be had for £249 from a German...

Agree with d8veh there, a simple conventional mid drive through the BB is out as it won't fit the rectangular box section frame, above or below.

Does the TSDZ2 have the wattage engraved on the casing like the BBSxx ? Is some one able to show a pic of any said markings ?

Under throttle control motor is smooth using any setting, it only appears to affect pas use.

I have 26" wheeled Cube FS with BBS01 no ground strikes unless you try and go over a 6/8 inch obstacle. Pretty much waterproof, I don't shy away from mud or water when off road. In fact it was pretty well wet and boggy on my Surrey Hills ride today, the bike, motor and me got well caked.
