    Brexit, for once some facts.

I'd have liked to have seen the actual questions asked, they must have been biased since this outcome is simply not true. Nor do I believe the majority of Tory MPs want a hard Brexit, only about 80 of them were Leavers. It'd be remarkably short lived joy! .

    Tour de France today

That was my thought. I don't think the fun elements met with official approval, since subsequent TV films of the Tour excluded them, concentrating just on the cycling. That was a pity, the first Tour film was like an entertaining travelogue and I thought a great advert for Malaysian tourism. .

    Tour de France today

No idea but obviously an oversize pet of one of the support team. The way it was being hung far out of the car window made me think he may have been trying to put off other riders, but if so it wasn't working. They were riding past it completely unconcerned. .

    Brexit, for once some facts.

As I've intimated, I don't think they are playing a clever game, just a "do nothing" game and hope that it all works out ok. So far it has. .

How to quick repair a puncture?

Yes, having test ridden them, I think suspension is essential with solid tyres to give an acceptable ride. I've never tried foam tubes. .

They may spend most of the time as a transient gaseous plasma. To get them into a 4k crystalline state you may have to freeze his balls. .

    Brexit, for once some facts.

Like Zlatan I think you are discounting the propensity of Labour supporters to switch to voting UKIP if they thought their Brexit desires were being thwarted. A moral victory isn't in question, JC was merely going with the flow and not rocking the boat. The fact that it all worked out well for...

    Electric brompton is coming soon?

It's the one folder that can easily be carried onto buses, trains and even on planes as hand luggage, while still having good rideability. That's their expertise, if trying to make full size bikes they wouldn't be able to offer anything worthwhile against the established brands. .

    Electric brompton is coming soon?

Yes, they've always taken a tough line, and dealers have to be satisfied with a below par profit markup. They can't really protest though, any bike shop worthy of the name has to have the Brompton brand. That's long been common practice in selling quality items though. I remember decades ago...

    Electric brompton is coming soon?

He's around, Andrew Ritchie is still the technical director of Brompton at 70 years old, having stepped down in 2005 from being El Supremo. I don't think he's interested in too much involvement these days though, under Will Butler-Adams they're now over three times the size they were in 2005. .

    Hi from London

Welcome to the forum Richard. London's cycling facilities are improving all the time, hope your route includes some of that benefit. Take care out there and keep an eye on the dafter drivers. .

    Electric brompton is coming soon?

Me too, this could be disappointing. One thing that concerned me about Will Butler-Adams comments earlier was him saying the motor assists with 20 to 30% of the power needed. That's only an Eco level, making it lower powered than anything else on the market. No doubt that's to keep its weight...

    Some say..........

That's a pity, I did think it seemed too good to be true, but still good with that top rate motor. .

They're at the high end of kits, around £1000 new I believe. It's one of the best motors around both for power and longevity, and many lithium batteries alone cost more than that £360. .

    Brexit, for once some facts.

But if he'd opposed Brexit he would have lost the election, due to the Labour Brexiters voting UKIP instead. Remember the referendum result, those who opposed Brexit lost. It was sitting on the fence which got JC in today's perfect situation, not by judgement but by sheer luck. .

    Tour de France today

There was one Tour on TV that actually outdid the Tour de France for sheer spectacle, and that was the Tour de Langkawi on the first occasion it was televised. Subsequent years it was broadcast were never up to the same standard. But what an extraordinary spectacle that first occasion was...

How to quick repair a puncture?

I agree Dave, I don't think any of our attempts to help are of much use to the OP. Someone mentioned solid tubes, so the solid tyres that are on the market would solve the problem, but they give rather poor ride and handling quality. .

How to quick repair a puncture?

Time to remind that I often change tubes and even tyres without taking a back wheel out. It's brutal, but can work with most frames if you are experienced enough to judge how far to go:
