    Battery charging problem

Needs opening to check for a loose wire/bad connection. And a voltage reading from each of the 10 parallel groups, If one P group is badly out of balance or duff it won't charge if the voltage is too low.

    Diy solderless 18650 battery kit.

Using the stainless buss bars soldering will be a problem, you could just use copper or nickel busses for the series connection only where you place the sense wires. The bolts on the caps are only about 3mm or less so small ring connectors are needed.

    Diy solderless 18650 battery kit.

The cut is $8 extra in the US warehouse, though no delivery from India to pay. Internal postage would still apply, I would assume total price would be similar to that of ordering from India for one kit.

    Battery Cutting Out

The one string of 4 parallel cells are already only reading 3.9v when fully charged so they have had it by the sounds of it and are sagging quickly to the lvc when a load is applied. You can try charging that one string of 4 cells manually via the jst connector to see if they will except more...

do you go further on ebike or more on unpowered?

Like AK asthma affects my non powered cycling so only now own e bikes. 90 miles is a good ride out for me with spare batteries, though 40 - 60 is my normal type of distance. Even offroad I sometimes have to walk up steeper inclines, luckily walk assist makes pushing easier.
