    Wisper 905se, 2010 model

Good idea in that circumstance, the small diameter insert bar mirror types are often easily knocked out of adjustment, as well as having small reflective areas. .

    Kalkhoff Impulse 2.0 battery problem

I can't help beyond that since I don't know the Impulse unit and am judging from the similar Panasonic one. It may be that your extra wires need the higher voltage to LCD and power unit, but of course trying that is risky. A large number of our leading members are at an e-bike event today and...

    Wisper 905se, 2010 model

This is normal, horizontal handlebars commonly have the smaller diameter inside and out and bar end mirrors are made for them, for example the Cateye BM500G. Drop handlebars have the larger diameters and the Cateye mirror in that case is the BM300G with the larger insert that often doesn't fit...

    Kalkhoff Impulse 2.0 battery problem

The display will show zero volts since that function has a separate feed from the battery, hence one of those extra wires. I don't know the purpose of that other thin wire, but it's sometimes the case in such units that the battery management is shared by the unit as well as the battery...

    Magnesium wheels and motor

Easier to clean than spoked wheels, no spoke rusting, no loose spokes, no need for a rim tape or instances of a protuding spoke causing a puncture, can be used with tubeless tyres and not going out of true with normal riding will be the main advantages. If a motor fails a new motor core can be...

The first link seems invalid shemozzle999. On the second link, not sure what to make of that comment, "with battery inside for woman" .

You're in Allan, two name entries under "M" on page 2, riding on the A 248 in England and on Le Bourg near the D53 in France: Map Link .

    Formula E

Thanks for this information John, the photos are fine. :) Oh dear, from the point of view of promoting electric cars this is dreadful, drawing obvious attention to the greatest objection in such a blatant way. The designers/planners really should have aimed for a non-stop period, either with...

Orange skyway cycle lane in Copenhagen

There's a high rate of cycling in Denmark so they have to provide for them. In Britain the low rate of cycling means the authorities: 1) can conveniently avoid that provision. 2) can't justify the huge expenditure for that provision. Pick the ending according to belief. .

    Where Do You Live V2.0

John, if you wondered what was going on in Googlemap, we were both trying to enter Richard at the same time, entering him at different points of Norregade in Hadsten! I've left yours in place, deleting mine. .

Wisper 905 - what's the Nm torque rating?

I'm speaking of what is likely to be the claimed figure of course, I doubt Wisper would claim less, since you want to compare and the claimed figures are all you have on most makes Allen. But as d8veh says above and about crank units in another current thread on this subject, there really are...

    Bosch bearings

A major factor in dealers of any trade refusing to undertake warranty repairs on items not bought from them is quite simply resentment, not of the customers choice to go somewhere else but of the internet sales that so severely damage their business. Their costs mean they just cannot compete...

Wisper 905 - what's the Nm torque rating?

Bafang rear motor, though I don't know which version, I think the 36 volt 16 amp controller had taken over from the 15 amp one at that date. With restriction off it was geared to give 18 mph assist, so I'd guess a torque figure around 40Nm. .

How long will it stay intact?

It may be the obviousness of it's placing and it's cheap status that's doing the trick. There's been quite a lot of publicity about the "sting" operations the police are carrying out to catch bike thieves, leaving a bike to be easily stolen while they keep an eye on it either directly or via...

    Schwinn Electric Tailwind motor issue

Schwinn used the Tongxin Nano motor in the model before the Tailwind and I think the Tailwind also uses it. There are some outlets marketing bikes using that motor, but I don't know any in your area. Perhaps another member will know of one. Otherwise I can only suggest the Electric Transport...

    Bosch bearings

Bosch seem to have followed Panasonic's long established policy for their crank units in this respect. Their problem is that the Bosch units have suffered internal faults at a far higher rate than Panasonic, especially compared to Panasonic's later unit which has been close to 100% reliable...

    Do NOT use if cycling.

Unlike many older men I'm tolerant of fashion trends, but this one does have me a bit baffled by it's lack of logic. Male fashionistas leave stubble all over their lower faces but are now stripping off all the rest of the body hair. Maybe it's to encourage their partner's lips to explore...

    Handlebars

Ann, the webpage below gives a large range of riser handlebars to show what is available. The Thorn Mark 2 Comfort ones in silver or black on page 2 seem to offer what you want, assuming their mounting size is ok: Riser handlebars at St Johns Cycles .

Do you have a dead Ezee battery?

The BMS is often powered by one end cell and that can be a bit lower as a result. The discharge lower limit is usually at 3.1 or 3.2 volts, so that 3.7 is ok. D8veh has a technique for charging the low cell, something I've never tried but hopefully he'll advise later. .
