Ah interesting www.electricwheel.co.uk now takes you to a new site nano electric bikes.

This company certainly has had its ups and downs.

PS the Falco is not listed there though there is a new Nano 2.0.

Nice motor though, if they could fit, without effecting the width of the motor, a freewheel clutch like the Cute motors instead of the rotor and replace the ring gear and mount the rotor magnets in its place then you would have a freewheeling direct drive motor - the best of both worlds - patent pending:cool:.

Team Hybrid sell some Falco kits, and complete bikes with the Falco motor. No mention of the Brompton though. Electric Bike Magazine recently reviewed their mtb with the Falco.

ELECTRIC BIKES AND BIKE KITS | Falco e-motors and Heinzmann Electric Bikes From Team Hybrid Ebikes.
That review was more or less a complete waste of time. It didn't comment on any of the unique characteristics of the motor.
What's it like to pedal without power?
How does it's range compare with any other hub-motor?
How well does it climb hills compared with a Neo?
Can you free-wheel at speed down-hill?
The fact that they were conveniently left out of the review makes me suspicious, since they're the obvious questions that any technically competent prospective customer would want answered before handing over his/her cash.
