I maybe being stupid by the picture posted has 84 where it usually says 68. I'm well out of my knowledge range here so will leave it to others to confirm.

Yes mine is 84 as opposed to the normal it seems 68. Does the bike being an e bike make any difference

Do I just get a bracket and transfer the needed parts on to my axle. I'm not going to find anything near what I need. Going back to Volt will most likely mean having to buy the whole crank set at a huge cost.

There is one 84 / 147 at least one measure is good. 12 mm extra on the overall length. Is it too much Like you I don't know. The crunch is it's a very long wait to get it. I can see the 80 / 140 mm. I'm still toying with the notion of just get any piece and using the parts I need. which is everything bar the axle.

The overall length of the spindle is 135 5mm, 86mm is the bottom bracket shell length, 29mm is the drive side exposed spindle length, 20.5mm is the non drive side exposed spindle length.
Bottom bracket shell width:

• 68mm: Commonly found on road bikes.
• 73mm: Typically used for mountain bikes.
• 83mm: Found on some downhill bikes.
• 100mm: Common for fat bikes.

You can take the cartridge bearings off a square taper bottom bracket and replace them (YouTube will have a video on how to do this).
I would contact the bottom bracket manufacturer and Volt.

I'd be wasting my time contacting Volt , saying this from experience. I've googled Feimin and can so far only find sellers selling their products. I've already amazoned a new bracket for the required parts. arriving tomorrow so hoping I can sort it out. I have a You Tube video saved for reference.

I've found their website but I'm not at all impressed. Only two measurements and not the ones I need. There is one E bike bracket but it looks weird.

I'm going with the piece I've ordered from amazon. Not the correct size but I'll take all the parts I need to put on my original axle.

Sorted to an extent, I couldn't get the sleeve off the new piece. I went ahead and with it and found tightening ring nuts( nut sure what they are actually called) They kept tightening, so loosened them which is not great but it works for a time I imagine.

Another learning experience though I now realise I need a vice a bigger hallway and the ability to know when buying a bike. It would be easy to get replacement parts and buy a bike on that premise. Still there's always a way to get it done.

I've fitted it on the bike now. I tried knocking it out. when I knocked the axle out the bearing stayed within the ringnut on the drive side. After watching a you Tube vid this was placed in a vice and with the appropriate tool the sleeve the sleeve dropped out when the bearing was hit.

I unfortunately don't have a vice so I used an adjustable spanner as a vice. It didn't want to go and because it was new I was afraid I might do more damage than good. So the sleeve is now short on the old axle and when I tightened the nut on the non drive side. It tightened beyond where it should have and the axle was stiff. So I loosened the nuts on both sides and the axle rotates freely.

The guy on the video said the sleeve only served as a dust cover. It's more than that it acts as a stop for the nut. I'm going to leave it until probably the ringnuts start to loosen more. Perhaps then the sleeve will also have loosened. I may also have purchase a vice, even though I have a workmate but that's packed away in a place that is not a place I want to go.

I'm a carpenter now retired and one of my sash clamps acts really well as a bearing press. A tip for anyone for future reference. Hope you can make sense of what I've said. I'm not great with bike part names. I did take the bike out for a test ride and it was better than okay.
