Hi. I have just cycled 33 miles delivering cycle charge leaflets, I did a few in Exeter and then cycled to Exmouth along the new cycle path and very good it is all along the Exe Estuary?? and then had to stop in the pubs on the way back!! It was hard ( and expensive ??) having to have a drink in each one!! but I delivered and got good response from the all so looks good! Also not a cloud in the sky it was a brilliant ride out.

If I get some fliers I can distribute them around when I deliver some other fliers whilst out around Birmingham.

You see everyone how you can combine a bit of Cyclecharge work....with lots of fun :)

Have you tried your local yet Steve in Cowick St. ?

Are pubs the best venue for this. charging takes a fair old time (unless you have a Bosch;)) surely most would be completely bladdered by the time battery is replenished:confused: :D

should be concentrating on "aunty kitty's tea room" type establishments, or local churches were we can ponder our sins.....

I am cycling around local massage parlours tomorrow...

How can I get flyers to distribute? Is there an document that can be emailed for printing or just do a blanket email shot?

I need a excuse to get out for bike ride (AKA massage) this weekend and flyer distribution.

Careful Lynda:eek:

I have convinced the Landlord at my local boozer to join the scheme, I think. He is happy to offer free electricity to anyone visiting the pub for drinks/food for E-Bike charging.

What happens now?

Good man. The next thing to do is to get him registered. At the moment the registration process is a bit tricky. Have you registered on the CycleCharge website as a user?

Good work eaglerider......if you ask him to log on to CycleCharge - The UK's E-Bike Battery Charging Scheme
The process is quite easy to register, if he has any problems it is easy via the site to contact paul for help, but its quite straightforward now.
In the meantime you can also log on and register as a member, and have your card sent to you.
You have to be a registered member to use the scheme, all it will cost you is the postage.
Anyway, well done.....dont stop though ! ..........the more the merrier :D

This afternoon was sunny and bright so we thought a walk along the beach would be a nice. I took a load of leaflets and targeted some business premises at West Bay, mainly tearooms, cafes and pubs that looked like they could accomodate ebikers.
I have to say, this time the reaction was very different. I was met by enthusiam rather than blank looks and shaking of the head. I adopted a 'salesmen' rather than 'engineer' approach and by the time i'd reached the last one i reckon' i could sell double glazed windows(well...maybe not).
I think i handed out ten leaflets all together and had a chat with most owners. I am hoping on discovering Morphix very professional looking website, most will register, they certainly liked the free advertising offered.
Fingers crossed.......................anyone else been 'out and about' delivering leaflets?

I got 50 flyers almost ready to go. They're single sided and I thought I would make use of the other side for a personal message from "kitchenman" with this photo as a background:

although I should use the latest logo!
