Thanks David, I'll amend my notes on this now.

Got to be careful though, might start a battery price war!

IMHO I still think adding a heavy motor and battery total 5-8Kg+ to a lightweight sporty folding bike is crazy, unless of course portability is not required.

PS. In this application 39.6v, 2.3Ah, 1kg battery £80 (88p.W/h). Only ride and carry what you need i.e add batteries to increase range. Warranty = replace a cell at £5 a time :p

I have replaced two cells (my own fault for abusing the battery) in two and half years of use and over 3500 miles coverered.

Trust you to find a way round it Tony,

I'm still reluctant to try something really offensive.

I do know some very rude words in Hungarian that would get through, then they can be easily translated into English using Google, but that would be very childish, but who gives a szar:rolleyes:

Yes, auto sensorship in now as this thread indicates.

Only the spaced out can type ars e, bugg er etc.

ars'e or bugge'r seems ok though, so substituting the a with u in can't is ok. :p

The Kudos batteries do seem like good value for LifePO4.
