Hello, due to the bike being used for commuting the carbon belt setup looks ideal (near maintenance free).

I repair motorbikes for a living so by the time I get home messing about cleaning/ lubing chains etc is at the bottom of my list. (Sad but true!).

I'm a bit weary of the single speed aspect but decided to give it ago and see how I get on with it.

Bike arrived at work this morning, well packaged and all in order.

Charged battery up to full and set seat and handlebars etc.

The G-tech is very well finished, and to look at you wouldn't know it was electric assist at all!, nice and light as well.

Only had a quick ride home (3 mile), sets off well from traffic lights and gets up to speed quickly!. I need to fit the speedo to see what speed I'm doing as it was mostly non assisted on the way home but estimate 20mph (over the 15mph assist limit).

The carbon drive is lovely!, the bike is smooth and silent with assistance on or off.

Need to try a few hills now..

cookie, Woosh bikes are sold at much lower margin than other brands on the market. When the value of the Pound drops, woosh have far less margin cushion than their competitors. They have to put up their prices sooner or risk selling at below operating cost (goods and freight in $ + selling costs in £). 12% increase cost in $ is translated to 5% in July and probably another 5% in August. Even so, all their bikes are still under £1,000. You can't find on the market at present time another bike with 13AH battery for less than £900 or with 15AH battery for less than £1,000.

First impressions are a very light and nimble bike, really smooth transmission and motor, well put together and handled a bad head-winfld with no issues!.

This is a clean, stylish stripped to bare bones commuter bike. Well thought out and executed.

Still on 4 out of 4 battery lights, just 9 miles down so far.
