As Lemmy says, the Panasonic system is very different from the Tonaro, miles apart in the way they operate. They are firm favourites of many who have to tackle steep hills all the time.Not too sure I agree with you on this Flecc. I live on top of a steep hill, I normally tackle it in first or second on my Tonaro. The motor gives its full 200 watts while I pedal as well as I can. Inevitably, as this hill is at the end of my ride, I will be fatigued when I reach it. If I was using the limiting panasonic system, i would have to shorten my rides to ensure that there was enough left 'In the Bank' ie me!
