Six month warranty on the battery is worrying and unless you live in central Scotland then the RTB warranty on the rest is a PITA, it will be worth checking if you can just post the faulty component back instead of the whole bike.
Why six months on the battery, other companies are offering two years. :confused:

I think I'm right in saying that the two year warranty is confined to the higher priced latest Li-polymer types with compound cathodes like the Panasonic and Wisper batteries.

The life of the older type non-polymer Li-ions like that which this Synergie uses is felt to be shorter and history shows them commonly failing within two years. I've just limped an expensive latest type non-polymer battery to two years on January 14th, but it's only just and I wasn't a daily user. An every day commuter with hilly runs might only have got 18 months at most, making a two year warranty impossible to give.
