I live and work in London, and i agree that it would be ideal to segregate cyclists and other traffic. If i commute to work by car, generally its ignorant car drivers that annoy me and the odd cyclist. If I'm on my motorbike its generally scooters that cut you up and drive like w@nkers because your moving at the same pace as them through traffic you notice it a lot more. If I'm cycling, its pedestrians, other cyclists, and cars not seeing me or just ignoring me thats the problem. It really does vary but i guess the point I'm making (if any) is that (in London anyway) people act differently to each other in all situations, so your bound to get wound up by each other whether its a cyclist with a car or a motorcycle with a scooter.
All that said it'll never happen so patients go a long way!!
