By the way - of the posts I have looked at of yours, this is one of the most detailed. Mostly, your posts are nasty snipes about five or six words long.

I understand the beginning and end phrases.

But the bit in the middle, which says:

"hit all conspiracy theory branches down the evil tree"

just has to be code, or maybe the output from a malfunctioning computer bot. Its position in the post renders the somewhat meaningful first and last phrases, meaningless gobbledegook.

Maybe you are using an Enigma machine to write your posts. Sadly, Alan Turing and the people from Hut 6 at Bletchley Park are all dead now, so no one can decode it.

Ha ha ha - no you didn't. You hadn't made any remark on this thread for three weeks and then came in after my post and said:

"Extremists are easily offended. Desperate to find offence."

Then you persisted with more of a similar vein, but no matter. I'll just put you on ignore from now on.

I rejoined to support a poster that contributes here (contributes rather than wastes bandwidth) over a point he made about the forum being spammed by political rubbish (which also happens to soak up a lot of bandwidth from caching the video data even when you don't open the videos). The complaint and mine too, is not about a person posting an opinion, or links to an opinion, but insanely slapping half a dozen or ten videos onto the thread every day - all videos, or newspaper articles, absolutely no point made by him, and doing the same thing on other threads too (battery fires and seizures).

There is NO POINT to doing this and it annoys people. That one individual probably posts more here than the rest of the members put together, and none of it is new, or interesting, because it has all been done yesterday, the day before and the day before that.

So then - when I remark on it, up you pop with your extremists jibe.

We have, as you've kindly pointed out, a separate thread for 'everything else' but not one that covers controversial topics, the type of which get people rather hot under the collar.

I'm on other forums who do have a distinct area to vent your frustrations, because it has been found that they tend to clog up the section, so best placed on the naughty step out the way.

Firstly it's not a thread, the Charging Post is a whole forum for everything else, including anything controversial. The only reason it doesn't have the thread you want is that neither you nor anyone else has started it !!!!!!!!!

I've got so fed up with members not using it as intended, I even opened a new thread there titled:

The Anything Thread that is never off subject

publicising it in the main forum, but still people don't use it, instead as you've done, complaining that the facility doesn't exist !!!!!!!
