So I looked into your suggestions d8veh and I found this kit which to me seems ideal in terms of battery and price, although I am waiting to hear back about shipping costs. http://www.8funbike.com/detail.asp/sku=EK26F36R so what do you all think of this one then??

That kit looks pretty good. It's all standard tried and tested stuff. 8FunUK are just about the oldest established suppier of ebike kits. Their customer support is pretty good too if you get problems. I haven't spoken with them for years. Last time I did, they were Chinese guys living in UK, so language was a slight problem, but they should've had a lot of practice since then.

So an update my kit that I posted above has been ordered. I am sooooooooo excited, now I hope Hubby will be able to install it without issue

Thanks d8veh it should be here in a few days I am sooooooooooo excited to get it It has the rack battery and really that is what won it over for me as it suits my bike far better.
