They might not be so delighted with the noise of a large wind turbine at close quarters keeping them awake on windy nights though.How did I miss the first post? YIMBY - I like - I have a big back garden surrounded on 3 sides by houses - I would happliy have a dirty great big wind turbine if I could afford it - I would also happily supply very cheap electricity (enough to pay for maintainance of turbine) to the neighbours if it would keep them happy.

The large ones really can be very noisy and need some distance from dwellings.
