Some of the DNP ones have a big jump to bottom gear, which makes them look like that. Who and where is the shop? We're always looking for suppliers.

Is there any special requirement for the type of tyre on an electric bike? I'm thinking about the extra weight.

Cheers, Camerart

No, but steer clear of the normal Continentals, which seem to break up. I see they have special ones now foe electric bikes, so they must've recognised a problem. Other brands also offer special tyres for electric bikes, but probably a waste of money.

Schwalbe Marathon Plus are highly recommended for puncture resistance and all round durability, they are fitted as standard to better quality electric bikes.

The standard version is semi slick, there are also the S.M.P. Tour and MTB versions.
