Tried out the charger and everything seems to work good. Thanks, was trying to figure out how to test electrical system before buying a battery.

Given the charger at 42v and 2Ah powered at 80+Watts. Motor drives at 4Km on display, so more Watts will give more speed. Hopefully a 36Volt-13Ah = 360Watts, battery will give more speed. 15km per hour would be ideal.

What would be a good priced battery on the market to suit.
The Ah rating is the capacity of the battery, sort of like the size of the petrol tank. It does not affect the speed but does affect range. So a 10Ah battery will not run as long as a 15Ah but the latter will go no faster if they are both 36v.
36v x 13Ah = 468Wh, again a measure of capacity.
When buying a battery it's max ampage should best be the controller max ampage plus 25-50%. This will give less voltage sag under heavy load (uphill or max power setting), stress the battery less and so help extend it's useful life.

Hi all, I posted this in the technical section by mistake.
I am thinking of purchasing a YOSEPOWER 36v replacement battery for a Wisper 905 TORQUE (575Ah on bike, destroyed) and was wondering which would be best. These are my options 15.6Ah, 15.4Ah or 20Ah, are these suitable for this type of bike motor. Any information much appreciated, thanks.

An battery of any decent ah or wh will be suitable.
The original 575wh battery was 16ah , all the ah or wh figure denotes is the feasible range available.

A battery won't change speed unless one increases voltage.
If one requires more range then the 20ah is the one to go for, 20ah is 720wh so a 25% increase in possible range.

Hi all,
May be a silly question to ask. If I buy a YOSE 36V 13.7Ah battery do I need to buy a controller for my Wisper 905 Torque EBike or can I just connect to the black and red wires that were plugged into its original Samsung battery. The bike worked with the charger connect to these wires and screen controls and lights also worked perfect. I’m for following connections and procedures by the book but lacking the knowledge and facts on this electrical stuff.

No controller needed as the wisper has one, just wire up the battery, wire polarity corectly to the existing controller.
