March 25, 201610 yr Ask bebbe for their thoughts and opinion. http://www.pedelecs.co.uk/forum/threads/how-many-people-are-using-there-e-bike-off-road.15780/page-81#post-297164 Motor aside, I'm guessing that it is only the forks, and rear shock that are different from the bike that you have shown. My one observation from the photo that you have posted, is the colour of the motor cases. They would soon become scratched and being colour coded, might look very tatty in a short space of time. March 25, 201610 yr Hi Steve, A couple reviews here on the model above. As Eddie says it's the same frame, travel, electric system. The FS 500 has better components. I.e wheels, brakes, suspension gearing etc. Bear in mind it's a brand new model so will of course take some ride time before people submit lengthy reviews. My one observation from the photo that you have posted, is the colour of the motor cases. They would soon become scratched and being colour coded, might look very tatty in a short space of time. The motor casing is a rubberised plastic so not prone to scratching. It's also made in this colour as opposed to painted. So it wouldn't rub color off. You'd literally have to pivot on a boulder to touch the housing anyway. All the best Martin
March 25, 201610 yr I have a Overvolt FS600. Was on my way to buy a FS500 because I like the Yamaha driveline. But I think a AM ebike should have beefier fork than the 32mm on the FS500. When I tried the new Bosch system I think it works really well. The FS600 have the new Bosch and a Fox 34 fork. And my dealer "fåglum" here in Sweden made a really nice deal on the FS600. Have used it 200km so far and I think this bike is the best buy I have ever done! After every bike ride I cant wait untill the next time I will be able to take a ride! I think the bike works really well. In hard terrain I the range is about 30km. But in ordinary terrain the range can almost dobbel. But there is a few things that could be better. -Brakes. The stopping power is ok. But the feel of the brakes could have been better. -Must get me a drooperpost!
March 25, 201610 yr Author Thanks for the info gang Think it's best I ride one with a yamaha drive then try the Bosch drive. And I think I may try a haibike

Spend most of my time on forest trails..it just flies along..if I had the choice again..i,d buy it in an instant..my only moan is the range...the last 3 bars on the battery...you be lucky to get half a mile out of it..i do have a dongle fitted so....anyways...go for it bud..you be well happy
