You can see the unusual mounting point for the mid drive,in front of the front wheel. The sensor will never reach the back and is still short of the front wheel?

Can't view pics so assume its for the recumbent, as the speed sensor is only 3 wires or maybe 2 easiest option is to splice in a new piece of cable with solder and heat shrink, Thin 3 ore servo wire would work.

Yea Nealh. It's the bent. Splicing is possible but I'd prefer to plug and play.

So now to look for the right din set.

Bottom pic is before work.

Top pic is motor fitted. But sensor is dangling down in front of forks. Also in aligned with hydraulic brake line.

Any supplier of the BBS01 should be able to supply an extension lead, my trike is about 1.5m motor to rear wheel sensor mount and 1 extension reached it just.

My supplier is no use to you as he is in Oz :)

If you want to use it in the mean time stick a magnet on the front ring and cable tie the sensor close to it, it will work without error codes but with incorrect speed and no speed cut off.
