June 29, 20205 yr Im going to just purchase a bike from a store in UK as safer and know what your getting for your money .. Sure, this business is owned by the larger internetstores GmbH (also German)
June 29, 20205 yr Are you sure you want that one? You'll get withdrawal symptoms in a couple of years with no battery to replace. (Actually I think you are quite right to go for a non-e bike).

Hi thanks for info , I was looking at another bike which had 7 speed shimano gearing in hub as well as bike rack on back for pannier bag and had suspension on front fork as well as comfy leather seat with springs . im not into an e bike at all personally ..costs of replacement for batteries is a bit much I feel , but also they tend to have problems in which some bike companies don't mind, as people then end up taking their e bikes in to get fixed and at a cost again ..with a non e-bike u don't have them problems I do understand e bikes are all good when working fine but your having to check on such all time and I cant be done with all that . June 29, 20205 yr Hi thanks for info , I was looking at another bike which had 7 speed shimano gearing in hub as well as bike rack on back for pannier bag and had suspension on front fork as well as comfy leather seat with springs . Our Raleigh Motus has got all that (as well as a four year old battery). Enjoy whatever,
June 29, 20205 yr I have tried twice in the past following rec's form the forum to use them but I wasn't able to access the final payments page, I decided something was a miss and have never bothered with the site again.

June 29, 20205 yr Author I'd generally go with bike-discount.de anyway. They are excellent Kirstin what firm u meaning , you got a link so I can check them out thanks in advance .
June 29, 20205 yr Looks an eminently sensible bike; and almost certainly very good quality. Trust you to come up with the push version of one of the most unreliable ebikes regularly mentioned in this forum.

June 29, 20205 yr Author Click the link... Thanks ill check them out ..for anyone else iv just checked bikster.co.uk out via facebook and everyone who has sent for a bike to this German company are raging on facebook page iv just read so many bad comments rgards customers bing ignored whn still awaiting weeks / months for their bikes and theyre very quick at taking their moneys from bank cards right away . Not a good company it seems so I wont send for any bike there at all. Its always well worth doing your homework if thinking of sending away online which I admit now I am wary about.. and thinking its best you go to a store and make some appointment and can look at bikes and possibly try a couple out and then see what u like ..as then u are seeing first hand if any faults or if all is fine and your happy then u purchase . But thanks for this link Kirstin much appreciated and as said I shall check it out .
June 29, 20205 yr If you have your heart set on the Kalkhoff try and find an approved dealers a bit more local > https://www.kalkhoff-bikes.com/en_gb/dealer-search
June 29, 20205 yr What amazes me is that they cannot be bothered to swap the brakes around before sending the bike to the customer. What else can they not be bothered about? Also, the front mud guard is too short and you will get wet feet.
June 30, 20205 yr Looks very dodgy indeed as they are also operating out of a UK front https://www.bikester.co.uk/ortler-gotland-trapeze-black-matt-1122818.html & a Swedish front https://www.bikester.se/ortler-gotland-trapeze-M801644.html?vgid=G1122818&eqrecqid=f98e7140-a093-11ea-a7c3-a4bf0128f3e6 & a Dutch front https://www.bikester.nl/ortler-gotland-trapeze-black-matt-1122818.html & a French front https://www.bikester.fr/ortler-gotland-trapeze-black-matt-1122818.html & an Italian front https://www.bikester.it/ortler-gotland-trapeze-black-matt-1122818.html etc... I bought my NCM Moscow from Leoncycles.co.uk, bike arrived in a week from Germany and all emails were from their German site so not sure they even have a UK site.
