March 6Mar 6 I have just bought a Kudos Sonata ebike without a battery...can anyone tell me what battery i need and product number also charger info.
March 6Mar 6 Googling Kudos Sonata brings up loads of Pedelecs hits right at the top. Maybe read through those. If you find a new battery, you should have the option to buy the matching charger at the same time, which is the safest thing to do.

You can use any 36v battery you want and fit it where and how you want. The controller is fitted in the compartment at the front end of the battery. You can buy rack batteries with a similar compartment, or you can mount the controller in a toolbag under the saddle to get more battery options.

March 7Mar 7 Does the battery pack use 2 pin and can you give me a link to a battery that will work with this bike. It will be a 2 wire battery. There will be more pins in the connector, but only two used. You should remove the battery and open the controller compartment to see what's in there, then you'll understand what you have to do.
March 7Mar 7 Hi Dave I have this Volt battery pictures attached . 50 % of the cells are knackard but I think the BMS is still good expensive battery to go and buy . if it could fit I know you are qualified to sort it out . . I not know if it’s can bus or not you should post pictures of your bike so the lads can see what you need. I think a standard 36V charger works with it but you would need to do your own your checks . I kept it to help train my self I was going to do a rebuild on it but not much time at the moment what with all the cancer treatment . Happy to see you have moved on from Carrera !!!!!!!!!!

March 10Mar 10 Buy two identical, carry the second for extra range if they are cheap enough. yes that‘s what I did with my 48v bike as the range is not good on PAS 5 I have this attached that some one gave me when I bought a Carrera off them . Its has no power coming on and I have had no time to take a look at it not sure what it fits any ideas ? I quickly googled it but it seems to be non-specific. Dave can have it if it’s any good to him.
