February 28, 201016 yr I did not think the Alien was particularly light....... yours is probable lighter - no? whats a GS2 weigh then? I reckon the Evans conversion is probably 5kg lighter than the alien Gents.(maybe more, I`ll weigh it in the morning)
February 28, 201016 yr A friend of ours came of his bike in the wet on Thursday, spent the weekend in hospital, now out but on crutches awaiting a hip operation....Be careful out there! (he has chipped a bone on his hip - not a full hip op) Edited February 28, 201016 yr by eddieo
February 28, 201016 yr A friend of ours came of his bike in the wet on Thursday, spent the weekend in hospital, now out but on crutches awaiting a hip operation....Be careful out there! One of the reasons I just did the brake light wiring into the micro switch so that I didn`t have to rely on the front brake.
March 1, 201016 yr Speed Info Hi All After some info on the Alien GS2. On the old model where the controller was not integrated in the rear rack you could turn a small screw which allowed you to get a few more mph - can you do this on the new model GS2. Thanks Mapman
March 1, 201016 yr No, it uses a different controller but don't worry it's fast enough And won't loose out to bikes fitted with the so called 'off road' button...
March 1, 201016 yr THANKS NRG, IF i can do 17 - 18 mph on the flat with throttle only thats good for me. thanks, mapman
March 1, 201016 yr THANKS NRG, IF i can do 17 - 18 mph on the flat with throttle only thats good for me. thanks, mapman Depending on your weight you should manage that. I can get an easy 16 mph and I'm just under 18 stone
March 1, 201016 yr Prevailing conditions will affect the throttle only speed so some pedalling may be required.
