    Juicy Sport seat height

6'2"...... 42" seat height and i'm on tip toes. As denwyn ignored my post on this thread, I assume he has no interest in fitting a kit to a bike of his choice.

Why don't you just build your own ebike ?..... then you can pick any bike that suit you and fit you perfectly, from any number of bike shops that are near. Then buy a kit for just over 400 quid. You'll end up with an ebike that fits you perfectly and will be far lighter than your Kudos City.

    advice please folks..

8fun kit is cheaper than the Cyclotricity...... Depends if you want the frog battery on the Cyclotricity kit. If you want the bottle or rear rack battery and the pedal sensor, then 8fun kit is £65 cheaper. No idea if there's much difference between the two, I just bought the 8fun kit because it...

    Cyclotricity kit versus 8fun kit

I just hope the 8fun kit is reliable, obviously an unknown to me at the moment. Although my kit wont be getting a hard life, as it'll just be used for pleasure and the odd errand but not for commuting. If its still working fine in 12 months then i'll be 100% satisfied with it...... If the...

    Cyclotricity kit versus 8fun kit

One more thing, front wheel with the motor is running true and spokes are all tight.... but the tyre that came with it seems to wobble as it spins. its also only rated at 50psi max, and it just seems like cheap crap. When I get around to it, i shall put the Kenda 700x45 on that was originally...

    Cyclotricity kit versus 8fun kit

Well, bearing in mind I don't have anything to compare it to, as its my first ebike..... i'm really impressed with how it rides. Seems to pull really well up the inclines I rode and the combined pedalling while going uphill is effortless. Unassisted on the flat the bike doesn't feel any...

    Cyclotricity kit versus 8fun kit

Just a note on the total cost..... Carrera Crossfire Hybrid was £250, but online discount was £20 off that weekend. When bike turned up it had a tiny scratch the size of a match head, I haggled a further £40 off because of it. Also got £7 going through Topcashback. So bike ended up costing...

Cant upload the rest of the pics, files are too big. I'll have to put em in photobucket, then post on here.

    Cyclotricity kit versus 8fun kit

Finished fitting this kit now. Still got to fit the pedal sensor, but i'll do that if & when I want it. Pretty happy how its turned out. haven't road tested it yet because it keeps chucking it down here in Somerset. Typical. You can see here how one side of the forks had to be ground down slightly.

    blowout....

I like the tyres on my hybrid pumped up to the max, they just roll better. The Kenda 700x45 that have been on my hybrid for the last 7 months, are rated 85psi max, and I run em at 90psi. Never had a puncture.

    Cyclotricity kit versus 8fun kit

Yep, I think that's the way to go, I shall do that myself. Biggest I got is 5mm ones, i'll bung them on til I go & buy some heavier duty ones.

    Cyclotricity kit versus 8fun kit

Ah, I see...... not fitted it yet. Thought i'd see how I got on with just a throttle first. I also had to file a millimetre or two off a small corner of the inside of the left fork just above the drop outs on the side where the disc bolts are in the motor. I now have a millimetre to spare each...

    Cyclotricity kit versus 8fun kit

Thanks mate..... but it was the 8fun kit I bought, not the Cyclotricity one. Tried to ring 8fun, but there was no answer on the 0845 number. Had to call a mobile number and they said they'd email me a picture of whats connected to what...... many hours later at 8pm I finally received the mail...

    Cyclotricity kit versus 8fun kit

Ok, kit turned up this afternoon..... something i'm stuck on.... The thumb throttle has a connector that will fit 2 different connectors coming out of the controller. Thumb throttle has 3 wires red, black and white. The 2 connectors coming from the controller, one has 3 wires of red, black and...

Pedelecs - Read Terms and Conditions of Warranty

The lifetime warranty, is the standard 2 or 3 yr warranty plus extended warranty. If you were to sell that Vauxhall when it was only a yr old, the new owner would get the remainder of the standard warranty. These lifetime warranties are different to standard warranties in that there is...

    Cyclotricity kit versus 8fun kit

Its out for delivery today, so I should be fitting it either today or tomorrow..... Although in the mail I received, its being delivered by Yodel..... possibly the worst carrier on the planet. So it's anyone's guess whether it actually gets delivered today.

Pedelecs - Read Terms and Conditions of Warranty

I would have assumed that warranties on ebikes are transferable..... but reading this it seems they are not. If I buy a second hand motorcycle thats under two years old, the warranty transfers to me. I don't see why it should be any different with an electric bike, they are both motorised vehicles.
