Just to add to the discussion, rad have released the Radxpand 5 a folder with decent cargo capabilities, you can add a front rack and it has gears. I would've bought this if it had been available when i bought my radrunner...

I would imagine that a mid mounted motor would be the easiest way to convert a trike. I’m sure the experts here will give you a few pointers! edit, Jorvik did their own conversion kits for a while, perhaps give them a call...
