41.6v is good so if you are getting power to the display , going back to #1 and the intimittent PAS issue then one has to look at the PAS and bottom bracket to recheck all is well. Importantly make sure the magnet disc is rock solid and firmly in place , it must only rotate when the cranks are...

    Disappointed with a Pendleton e-bike

It is threaded just a poor out of focus pic. The bend is because the nipple entry angle is too great, one would rebuild the wheel with lower X pattern for better nipple entry angle.

The hardest part of the above is opening the battery. No soldering or wire cutting or any other work is required at this stage bar collating ten voltage readings to ascertain any particular bad voltage imbalance.

One has to open the battery to expose the BMS. Via the BMS 's multi connector that connects the small voltage sense wires to the battery cells, one uses a digital £5 meter to take a series of (ten) seperate cell group voltage readings . Once each one is written down one can see at a glance...

39v is likely to be out of balance but also could mean a bad cell or two in a group, If a balance issue and it doesn't correct it self via charging attempts then only manual intervention may sort it out which means opening the battery to check.

    The e-bike that does everything

Seems strange they opt to fit an illegal kit to a bike . The £900 at first look seems very dear but factor in the kit/ battery and they will warranty the bike still should it go wrong !!!

    Help! Brainpower wiring help .

The BP controller kit is a Hall sensored motor kit and some controllers kits won't run with out the Halls . Your hub isn't sensored so will have issues . Ideally one is better off with an unsensored controller or a dual hall/non hall controller kit. A KT controller kit with the L settings...
