Only 200w, and 6.6 ah battery. That's why they are so cheap (£500) I guess if that's all you need then could be ok, but if it were my money I'd be looking to spend another £100-200 to get something with 250w and 10ah.

15mm is the outside diameter of the pipe, so the clip is designed to clamp up on that.

Modern, cheap, plastic, crappy tyre levers are just that. If you spend about 10 pence more you can get aluminium ones.

Second vote for Kudos. I tried the (I think) Arriba at the Eden event at the weekend, and I like it a lot. Only a 10.4 Ah battery, although you could always buy another and take it along in a back pack for really long journeys.

On mine, which sounds similar, the metal ring is just to mount the sensor (presumably a reed switch) on to the bottom bracket. As far as I know it has no electrical or magnetic characteristics that are relevant to its operation.
