    High Quality E-Bike on ebay

....I'm sure your kits are great Frank, no reflection on that. The fact the forks are the wrong way around is the bit that scares me! I have now messaged the seller to ask him to warm prospective purchasers before someone gets hurt.

    High Quality E-Bike on ebay

Electric bike 500watt - faulty battery | eBay Excellent design features on this home built machine. Of particular note: 1. Use of a phono plug for battery charging. 2. Fork installation. Currently going for £5.19, - cheaper than a bottle of whiskey and 100 sleeping tablets!

    Class as a cut up?

Similar thing happened to me the other day, when a Nissan micra pulled straight out. I was going down hill at about 25 mph. The passenger saw what was happening, and I'll never forget the look on his face as he realised that a fat bloke on a bike might very well crush a micra. I managed to...

    batteries

BMS Battery will do you a 10 Ah bottle battery delivered for about £190. I think you'll be hard pressed to beat that with drill packs.

In parallel the Ah will double, in series the voltage will double.

Bike for child trailer, to go up steep hill?

I agree wholeheartedly. While I'm not doing anything as extreme with my son, I have a similar attitude and seek to include him wherever I can, while mitigating the risk as much as practically possible. His BASE jump training begins next week ;)

Tag along cycle offroad with KTM

Glad you guys had a good day out. I'm pleased that I'm not the only one here cycling with a nipper just for the sheer fun of it. My son (5) loves coming out on a ride with me, but 10 miles is about as much as we've attempted so far, so thanks, its encouraging to know that the little ones can...

Bike for child trailer, to go up steep hill?

In his shoes!....and the shoes go on the foot pegs, which are mounted on the down tube - not clear from the picture, but right and down from the water bottle, under the 'd' in Claud Butler.

Bike for child trailer, to go up steep hill?

The inspiration for me to create my own tight wad version was this: LOCT in action 2 - YouTube Its amazing what these guys are doing, and that boy looks to be about 3 ish. Quite expensive though. Another cheaper option is this: WeeRide Kangaroo Child's Bike Seat | GO Outdoors or...

Bike for child trailer, to go up steep hill?

I know this is not strictly relevant, as you are asking "What electric bike for child trailer", however I have some personal experiences of this, as I tried quite a few solutions to take my son (from age of 1, now 5 y/o) cycling. Trailer: Good for moving a child as luggage. Mrs not happy...

    36v horn

This one is a push to make switch, so designed to short, but you could be right about it shorting the primary.

    36v horn

It will work like that, but switched 0v is less conventional. Will be same current no matter where it is in the circuit though! A simple switch like this doesn't really have a polarity - its just connecting two bits of conductive material together, similarly to touching two wires together...

    36v horn

To use for horn, take 36v feed from fuse box to one side of switch. Other side of switch to horn +, horn - back to 0v.

    27W LED on the front

A few tips: Use flux cored solder. Ensure iron tip is clean, and suitably sized. About 4mm chisel for this type of thing. Clean tip while hot with wet sponge to remove slag and clinker. Ensure parts are free from greasy stuff. Allow iron to fully heat. Add solder to tip to aid heat conduction...

    27W LED on the front

There's no easy way of saying this Alex, and no offence is intended, but I think you need to review your soldering skills an/or equipment.

1000W Conversion kit limited to 250watt Nominal Power legal?

Seems that the Dept For Transpot objects to a 'Switch' that can be 'Pressed'. You could always remove the switch, and leave the wires permanently connected/disconnected . That's how many other controllers do it. On the ones I've seen, there is a grey cable that needs to be connected for the 15...

    27W LED on the front

So it looks like the light unit has a buck converter inside it. At 24v the cable from your DC-DC converter will need to carry just over 1A, and if you run it at 12v, just over 2A. I would run it at 24v in that case. On second thoughts, run it at 22v. That will give you a little bit of room for...

    27W LED on the front

No, you can simply 'dab' meter probes across the output of the DC-DC converter while its all powered up to measure voltage.

    27W LED on the front

That's 26 watts then. So now, connect back up as normal, and measure volts on the output of the converter. If it was 12v, then turn up to 24v. if it was 24v turn down to 12v. then re-measure current. !! MAKE SURE YOU PUT THE RED LEAD BACK IN THE RIGHT HAND SOCKET, AND TURN DIAL TO VOLTS BEFORE...
