    Hello everyone.

Welcome to the forum. Any ebike is better than no ebike so you won't be disappointed. In your future travels, I wish good luck to you and all who sail in you - all 10,000 species and 39 trillion beings. Unfortunately, I don't have enough time to read out all their names, but they know who they...

    Yose kit on road bikes

In a bag, the non-waterproof connectors are better - cheaper too. http://www.topbikekit.com/t09s-36v48v450w500w-torque-simulation-sine-wave-controller-for-ebike-p-734.html

Will a KT controller be compatible with my hub-drive bike?

Let's take a few steps back. Please explain what that cable with the bare ends is. Where did it come from? What was it connected to?

Scheme to take control of ebikes in urban areas

Firstly, that's a Guardian article. You can take it with a pinch of salt. If you read it carefully, you'll see that it's full of errors, so the writer hasn't much idea of what they're writing about and probably got his facts mixed up or misunderstood what he was told. Secondly, the main...

    Yose kit on road bikes

The only question is how much power you want. i have 14 amps, which I find enough for even exceptionally steep hills at 48v. At 36v, you'd need 20 amps unless you're fit. The 6 fet ones are nice and small, so they can fit in a water bottle container or any standard controller compartment. The 9...

Will a KT controller be compatible with my hub-drive bike?

Where's the PAS???? That's not the PAS cable he's trying to connect. It looks like the main harness on the 1 into 3 cable. AFAICS the wires that he's poked through are already attached on another cable. The wires attached to the controller all come out to a connector. The matching connector is...

    Yose kit on road bikes

My advice is always to use a separate controller and never use the waterproof connectors. they're great when they work, but impossible to test or diagnose if you get problems. There's no net disadvantage in having that type of controller.

Will a KT controller be compatible with my hub-drive bike?

i don't know what you're trying to do, but I'm pretty sure that it's something very wrong!!!

Will a KT controller be compatible with my hub-drive bike?

I can't see anything wrong with your controller. What's the problem with it? You shouldn't have to solder the wires to the controller. There's a connector between the PAS and the controller. Even in the unlikely event that the wires are damaged on the controller side of the connector, you only...

    SW900 headlight won't turn off

We were hoping that you'd be able to tell us. If that's the transistor that failed, it's rated at 5A so something catastrophic caused it to blow. You need to find out what that was otherwise the next one might suffer the same fate.

    SW900 headlight won't turn off

Yes, you can repair the transistor if you want and if your logic says that it's a good solution.

Suntour SP12 NCX suspension seatpost bargain!

Don't forget that the stiffer spring puts more force and impact on your bum.

    Cyclematic powerplus power problem

You could, but it's better to have a throttle than not. Why don't you want it?

The later Hailong cases have much lower fixing points, or he could fit a dolphin type or any of the latest frame mount types. This photo shows the difference in the Hailong bases:

    Does anyone ride a moped?

There's loads of tuning stuff for the DAX. You can go up to 175cc engine or there's a race twin cam 125cc. There are upside down forks, disc brake wheels, gas suspension, exhausts and everything. I had one before all this stuff was available. I put in an older engine (70CC), which has much...

    Does anyone ride a moped?

Did you take the exhaust off and look. It's like a cup washer pressed into the exhaust header. You lever it out with a screwdriver.

You've been told a load of ball cox. Where did you read that?

    Rear rack battery holder

Rack batteries spoil the handling of any bike. surely, the way the bike goes and feels is more important than the way it looks?

Why don't you want a normal downtube battery? Have you already ordered a motor? What's so fantastic about torque sensing?

    Rear rack battery holder

That was a complete waste of time. There's no rack on the bike in that photo and it doesn't show the disc caliper. I don't get you guys. You ask for help and give us nothing. Good luck. I hope you get sorted.
