Prices of the electricity we use to charge

Sounds the like you are with Shell Flecc as my figures are the same.

    ADO A20

I'm one of the one's who think all the hub motor windings of the same nominal voltage are the same whether 250, 350 or 500w and they are just marked differently for the market geographic area. Despite what the the motor will take wattage wise it is the marking that count's to satisfy law.

The Shimano is much the same as the 2 slot Wolf Tooth, the other WT mounts just give more positioning choice so the battery can be mounted as low as possible. The grooves in the WT allow for a cable ties to pass through and around the down tube.

    Hi Everyone

Looks like the factory QC failed there then with no lube., it will likely be noisy. Use a lube that is nylon/plastic friendly as some may be able to make it's way in to the internal plastic gearing.

    eBike Brake Wiring Question

The Higo 3 pin brake and speed sensor use the same 3 pin connector so wiring will be the same, if one can wire the two wire brake to the Gnd & Sig on the controller side then one can test the effectiveness of the brake sensor. From the Tektro the Black/Gnd and Blue Signal.

If the bottle riv nuts don't line up re drill the fixing holes in the battery receiver/ bracket to align or as i have done I fitted a Wolf tooth B-rad bottle/tool roll mount so as not to drill the frame for new riv nuts. The B-rad comes in three lengths. Wolf Tooth Components B-RAD Mounting...

    Battery mounting bracket

It is a common sense thing not to fit the battery upside down. Most points have been covered in this post and the last thread you made. 1. Possible Water ingress or affecting the contacts. 2. Less compression of the contacts. 3. Gravity the lock will be taking all the weight/forces and...

Prices of the electricity we use to charge

Wow Flecc nearly £200 pm seems a lot to me, currently I'm paying £68 for duel fuel but this is likely to rise after April to about £90 - £100, but by then I should have the heating off nearly as the weather should be a little warmer. My supplier says on my fuel usage my bills should be about...

Prices of the electricity we use to charge

From April 1st (not an April fools joke either), my Elec charge will be nearly 29.5kw/h and the SC over 41.5p. Gas equally is going up to over 7p kw/h. Then in Sept I believe the price cap is to rise again, this due to the fact a pretty good deal I was on vanished when the supplier ceased. In...

Defo try and fit the battery the correct way up as if it does drop out, it's not going to do it much good if it falls out.

    eBike Brake Wiring Question

The 2 pin is a Reed sensor so doesn't use the 5v, the 3 pin is Hall sensor and does use the 5v. One can try just hooking up the two wire to see if they will work. Bafang use Higo I don't know the wire sequence as they differ from the similar looking Julet ones.

    Help! Haibike battery

If the BMS is toast the cells will have some value in them and a new generic BMS will make a nice battery for a kit bike. For < £350 one could have a tsdz2 kit for a bike and use the battery and still be cheaper then a new battery.

    looking to buy a controller

As I said try P2/1 to see if it works, if you gt a silly reading like 50mph or so then it means you do have 6 magnets so change the setting back. You may just have to put up with zero speed when coasting.

    Wierd Pedal Assist Problem

You mentioned 3mm gap, it is to large push the sensor to wards the disc so the gap is 1mm or nearly touching. At 3mm rotating fast the sensor simply can't pic up the magnet signal, rotating slowly is has chance and can do so.

Help! Ebike Motion X35 Mahle system

Like modern cars that are all computer/pcb controlled only a plug in diagnostic test can show up the issue or pin point the area, the bike dealer won't be able to physically carry out a part repair but simply would have to order a part in, if not held in stock. One is simply tied in to these...

Help! Ebike Motion X35 Mahle system

The PAS disc/sensor set up again is a bespoke design used by the x35, one simply can't buy the spares. One can check that the magnet disc and sensor head are aligned and clean, also check the spacing between the magnets and sensor head are about 1mm. If the sensor head is an optical one then...

Help! Ebike Motion X35 Mahle system

Intermittent power cut offs are not motor related but either a bad contact with the head display so check any connection and if the display is a removable one clean the head contacts, also some may have a back up button battery so check for this and change battery if need be. Other wise the...

    New old member advice please

The ezee electronics were pretty good and had more powerful hubs and I think 25 or 30a controllers so they had some high torque. Any hub one buys today one may not feel the same effect as the ezee. Ebikes today are a minefield and the choice is far greater then the days of the ezee bikes...

Help! Ebike Motion X35 Mahle system

Sadly you have enterer in the world of 'Locked in/closed' ebike servicing and sales. Like Bosh and other systems the electronics use CANbus comm's to prevent the diy/self maintenance route, this means you have no choice but to keep going back to the dealer for either warranty repairs or once out...
