Help! E-Plus Mantra Electrical Issue - Help Please !

Damp may be an issue a shed is not the best place to keep ebikes unless insulated. I would first look at the battery take some readings before charging during and after, check out the charger to insure it is also outputting the correct voltage of 29.4v. For 24v one should see 29.4v when fully...

Hello from new member, need advice

Geared hubs will be more reliable then the tsdz2 and will not wear the gear train as quick. Tsdz 48v has a max cadence speed of approx . 90rpm and any larger chain ring then the 42t may cause motor damage, unlike a geared hub one can use a larger chain ring for gearing/speed.

Hello from new member, need advice

The lightest motor for 30/32km/h is the akm 100h or cst 36v 328rpm with approx. 18a. The other option is akm 128c 48v 260rpm it can handle a lot more current 25-30a), still both would need a battery with good 15/20a cells. Speed will soon eat in to the capacity so depends on the distances one...

Yes. The rpm speeds I mentioned are variable +/- 1 mph. 36v 201rpm for instance becomes 270rpm approx. if over volted to 48v so will run faster. Generally one has to select the rpm for the type of riding or terrain used. If flat terrain then one can select a faster wound motor, but if one is in...

A motors rpm is dependant on the coil windings so the rpm is limited by the windings.

Speed though comes as a compromise and this in the main is range, for faster speed one needs more wh/ah capacity.

    Upgrade - Ananda MC5-B0 Controller

Every hub is wound for a certain speed/rpm so yes they have a max speed for the voltage. Theoretically one can have 150rpm to 500+ rpm, the faster the rpm rating the less torque the motor gives for that voltage. Typically for 36v 201rpm is good for approx. 15mph for 26" or 16.5mph for...

One is governed ultimately y the quality of the cells used and the BMS continuous rating, no use running at more then 20a if using crap/mediocre cells. Ideally one has to opt for 20a cells which there are only a few good ones and they are now like gold dust and generally means building your own...

Your battery uses the LG MG1 cell, as cells go it is one of the very mediocre 10a rated cells. One wouldn't want to draw more then 16a from that battery.

A 500w hub is no different to a 250w one, the wattage rating is what ever the manufacturer decides to stick on it for the market they sell to. Try selling a motor marked 250w in the USA they will laugh but stick 500w on it and they sell.
