Unfortunately most Kingmeter stuff is oem supplied only, the displays if found are quite expensive so it is in the long run better to replace the items.

That display is a generic design model but many brands use it with there own software, though many look the same or similar it would have to be controller brand compatible.

If one is thinking of changing it then you might not be able to get the same item, if it only has 4 wires then you might be able to use other 4 wire analogue model. If it has 5 wires then it is likely a digital model and others likely may not be wholly compatible.

28.8v isn't too shabby but still a wee low , if you can get 29.05v then that would be better.

The dimming I think is still down to damp affecting the pcb, electronics just don't like moisture on the circuit board. Unless a wire comes a drift (not unknown) or it gets smashed/damaged they rarely go wrong apart from damp.

Is it not job you could turn your hand to ? Does the wheel feel like it is rubbing or the brakes are on when you turn the wheel by hand ? Brake shoes are relatively easy to fit. Remove the drum covering and take a pic of how it is all fitted and then simply replace like for like.
