    New here looking for advise

Have a look at P5 value, tbh you don't need the bar display as the voltage readout is a more accurate visual aid. At least with the voltage reading you will for sure know that as you approach 33v lvc won't be far away.

    Yosepower hub kits.

My Yose hub worked fine with my 25a KT, though have reverted back to the Akiema cst after a years use as the latter is a better motor.

    Pendleton Somerby Upgrade

Afaik Jimmy is back at work and has been very busy with battery builds/re -cells, his service is reliable so might just require a bit of patience at the mo. Members have been using him as of last few weeks.

    Controller or battery issue

Usually speed type of controller can't be reconfigured for current control, the KT/Keunteng controllers are current control by default but they do have a setting to switch to speed control as well most users don't bother switching modes. Though you do have the Intelligent lcd, whether it allows...

    Controller or battery issue

Power loss even though you see 700w in PAS one may depend on heat build up in the battery and inclines you come across.

Is it ok to stack a lot of washers on the flange?

You will need 12 dia holed penny type washers and a 12 mm dia holed collar/bush. Make sure the internal dia is 12mm/M12 and the outer dia is right as well to suit the freewheel so might need to be about 19/20mm ? Look for something like in the link below, use one 12mm holed washer then a...

    Juicy Classic Click lagging

Good news then Emzie, I am pleased for you that the bike is up and running again. One thing for you to think about for the future is to replace the rear tube with a Gaadi double ended tube, once fitted there is no need to remove the motor wheel but just to remove the tyre on one side of the rim...

Looking to convert to electric but need some help please

Brian tbh it is unfair to hijack a thread and take it off course and I should have mentioned it yesterday, so as not to confuse the two different replies to the thread it is best to start a new thread regarding your bike.

    Pendleton Somerby Upgrade

Yes you have internal speed sensor the motor connector has 9 pins, the ninth pin tells us this. Also a bit late now I should have asked you to confirm the brake connectors have the Julet name embossed on them. Shipped already very efficient I would think all will be with you by end of next week.

    Controller or battery issue

No battery pic however it will be 13ah/13000mah. The battery output charged voltage alone of 41v indicates all is not well and it has lost capacity, loss of capacity and voltage is caused by higher cell internal resistance coming to end of life. Also the current rating of the controller at 22a...

    Streetmachine

Yes I understand that, however there aren't many bent riders on here to give the advice needed as to set up and handling of the various applications so the sub forum I mentioned is a good place to go to. The electronic tech advice is better here but not for bent user general advice, there are at...

    Converting hub to mid engine

Yes most likely if the BB shell is a standard English thread. Though pics of the BB under the bike are helpful to see that nothing will foul the fitting.

    Cyclamatic bike damaged by water

Either the controller or display is faulty, water ingress causes copper or rust streaking between tracks/components rendering them useless.

    Controller or battery issue

41v is a good bit low for a 42v max charge, though 1v doesn't sound much in the bigger pics of things it is an indication of a failing battery if that is all it can manage. It is possible cell groups are unbalanced and the only way of knowing is by opening the battery to check the 10 individual...

Looking to convert to electric but need some help please

Might not be so easy as that, it depends if CANbus is used which also includes the battery BMS, all components need to hand shake with each other. Or at least the battery, display and controller.

    Cyclotricity problem

Safety reasons you don't want a short burning your house down use an extension lead, the cells are aged and knackered there is no knowing if a short may occur. Tbh though a 4v discrepancy in two hours is very bad and self discharging that much it needs to go for recycling, Good cells will stay...

Advice Raleigh dover 7 years old

At 7 yrs old if the battery is the same age it is all but scrap value, look else where. Used e bikes and batteries are not worth much tbh esp over 2 yrs old, find out how much a battery costs to replace or re-cell and then subtract that figure from the bike price.

Connecting 3 wire speed sensor to brainpower controller

I don't know how the Brainpowers parameters work but for instance the KT's I use have a setting for the motor magnet / spoke magnet count which can be set between 1 - 6. One should see 4 -5v on the signal wire to Gnd wire as the magnet passes the sensor and about 1v when out of range.

    Cyclotricity problem

Yes the battery has had it Annie, once charged is should maintain that charge there after and at 41.5 - 42v. Losing 4v in a couple of hours is very bad. Just in case it's a balance issue (highly unlikely) you could try leaving it on charge for a two or three days to see if it gets any better ...
