There are shops that will mount kits. They will be best placed to tell you if your bike is suitable or not. There are members on the forum who mount kits too, if you were in the SW of France I would do it for the price of a good meal.

It depends on the attachment. I had to drill the hole out to fit the larger axle and leave a washer off. Some other trailer mounts attach to the stays.
