    Flat foot bikes non electric

This position is only ridable if you have no hills, which probably explains the huge direct drive hub motors the americans put in them. The slightest slope and you get off and push. This is probably the reason most bikes like this are either fixies, Sram Automatix or three speed hub.

    Retro fit lighting

The Bosch system is fitted to many bikes that don't have lights is the main reason I think. The German law saying that lights had to have a separate power source dates a bit, I think it has been changed otherwise the big name manufacturers wouldn't be wiring their lights in... Many companies...

Looking for child seat for 5-year old son with autism

For the BPM motor it would most likely be you fitting a kit to an un-powered trike or cargo bike. Most of the Dutch and Danish ones are Bosch powered.

Kalkhoff Pro Connect Impulse 10 2015 Review

A trekking bike should be fit for long distance commuting. After all it is designed in theory to be laden with panniers and the world is the limit, or at the very least a pan European road trip. We hardly ever hear of problems with Bafang mid drives and almost never of problems with the...

    Installing the GSM

Yes but... I don't want to buy a battery from BMSbattery... I want a nice comfortable European guarantee. For the moment nothing too much has gone wrong with my kit I don't like playing against the lottery :D There are German and Dutch companies who sell 17 Ah Panasonic or Samsung HL batteries...

    Installing the GSM

No not yet. The one from the 09 battery won't fit (from quick measurements) and there is a capacitor to unsolder and resolder flat. There was briefly the SO9S 20 Amp controller on the BMSbattery site but can't find it today. I was wondering if it could be removed from its casing and installed...

    Installing the GSM

I am also interested in a source for an internal controller for the HL battery pack. As my standard of living has taken a turn for the better I am already planning my options for next year  And a 17 Ah HL battery is on my wish list.

    Li-Po 6s charging question

Yes I was cheating a bit above... The 4S battery will charge at 5 Amps and the 6S at 3.9 Amps so 0.39C the charger says that it has 7 Amps available. I haven't tried "fast charge" option because I want my batteries to last until winter. When I get a real Lipoly pack I will buy an AC...
