Hello from Malta. Need help please

As above in the spreadsheet 3 phase wires and 3 hall wire all Blue, Green & Yellow. There ae 36 wire combo's phase wiring along with 6 combo's of hall wire. Red & Black hall remain untouched as they are v+/Gnd. You may not need to try all combinations as one early on during testing may prove...

    Battery layout.

Differing length of buss will mean the longer ones will/ may get a bit warmer and power share per cell will different, the two cells with shorter nickel will deliver slightly more ampacity then the other pair due to the fact the flow to the center is shorter. You can use one piece of nickel to...

Rack bag / Rutland cycling / HotUKDeals

The Axiom exp15 looks like it has four corner Velcro's not sure if it has under slung fixing as well, the four corner ones are enough. As with all things Velcro best if secured in place and left in situ to retain the hook strength. My ones only have a string bag compartment at the rear unlike...

Rack bag / Rutland cycling / HotUKDeals

My FWE in one has two under slung Velcro straps for securing to a rack and 4 (one at each corner) for securing, another similar I have different brand only has four corner velcro's but holds firm. Yes If needed you may be able sit on top of some throw over panniers, it will depend on the throw...

    What is my range?

Tonking along at 50km/h and top assist will have an affect on cells, demanding high amps constantly. Which cells did you use ? Range will be even better probably at least triple in PAS 2 and about double in PAS 3, for longer cell life use the lower PAS and save high PAS for inclines. On shared...

Rack bag / Rutland cycling / HotUKDeals

Nice one Raboa, Just ordered one as I need another. I use an (Evans) FWE one which is very good but at the price the Axiom is a very good deal. The really cheap ones available are pretty crap as they don't have any side support/stiffeners in them and lack in decent rack fastening. I like these...

    BBS02 waterproofing

The job is quite easy with the drive removed from the bike, the controller case is the finned part of the drive on the LHS it is simply attach by the 3 or 4 machine bolts you can see and simply comes off, there is a gasket from recollection. If you remove/undo the controller don't yank t off as...

    BBS02 waterproofing

There use to be an issue with the white hall connector on the controller side, some times it would back out of the block because of to much white silicone in the way. The controller needs unbolting and connector removed along with the sealant before refitting.

    Dreaded crossfire cutout.

The butt of the issue is the Bms in the battery, for what ever reason the software or programming is wrong. Might even be cheap fets that thermally cut out .

    Motor problems

No, square wave is 3 phase wries no halls. It's probably as you say 'just crap'.

    Yosepower hub kits.

If the battery has been sitting a while in a warehouse the Bms may have bled off one of the cell groups a little and when it was first fully charged by egroover it may not have balanced properly or one cell group may have reached full before the others hence why he may have got a few watts less...

    Motor problems

Not all sensored hubs like working with square wave controllers and no halls connected, the fact that the sine wave works goes to show this it true with your current hub. It is a sensored hub stick with what works which is a sinewave controller.

Typical China battery poor power/current share !!!

Got to admit it has now peeked my interest as a 14s 3p/52v pack would be 780wh and work with my 48v controllers, 58.8v or even better 57.7v /4.12v per cell charge would be good with min discharge to 47.6/3.4v per cell. Limit the controller to 15a@52 for 780w peak controller output. The...

Typical China battery poor power/current share !!!

Nooo, don't be shy it is good to see even for a protoype bike. 5000mah sounds good , 21700 GA not heard of them yet ? The wrap to me looks like Sam 50E 21700 !!!

    Battery Storage

For lower storage voltage you have to monitor the charge and check with a volt meter and cease the charging when it reaches the voltage you want. Cells don't usually go out of balance unless there is either bad cell group, faulty wire or a faulty bms , the next time you fully charge it will be...

Typical China battery poor power/current share !!!

Everyone feel free to add your packs or builds to the thread so we can all improve our designs builds together. The more uniform a pack is, the easier it is to make for equal current share, the layout is key and in my pack in #1 the execution/layout from the factory could have been much better.
