I think the big bright bold type on the sash 'CLIMATE EMERGENCY' should be a clue what they there for even for the myopic and hard of thinking.

Only time I've seen someone receive a kicking at a major event from officialdom was in Sri Lanka in 2001 (still Tamil stuff going on then) at Dambulla during a cricket 1 dayer - Many locals flooded in without paying and sat in the stadium to watch. Then when armed police went to investigate one local made the error of trying to grab a gun. He was hauled out from the stand and a group of police laid into him on the outfield until they realised the televised match had stopped to watch - players umpires, tv cameras etc. - so the police grabbed his arms and legs and carried him round the back to finish off in privacy what they started...
anyone could have got one of them. And who received a kicking??

this is Mark Field, apparently showing his friendliness to Lucia Hunt, JH's wife.
He is clearly friendly to ladies.

Wiki says:

Field is married to Victoria (Vicki) Field. They live in Westminster and Mallorca with their son, Frederick and their daughter, Arabella.

Funny how Field thinks it perfectly fine to exploit free movement. But not the rest of us.

Field's first marriage to Michèle ended in divorce in 2006, with his ex-wife citing his affair with Liz Truss.[45] Truss is now Conservative MP for South West Norfolk since 2010 and a Cabinet member since 2014.

Seems to have something of a track record...

And has he been recognised as having the shortest period between being made a minister and being suspended? Did he make a full week?

Police were called to the home of Boris Johnson and his partner, Carrie Symonds, in the early hours of Friday morning after neighbours heard a loud altercation involving screaming, shouting and banging.
The argument could be heard outside the property where the potential future prime minister is living with Symonds, a former Conservative party head of press.

A neighbour told the Guardian they heard a woman screaming followed by “slamming and banging”. At one point Symonds could be heard telling Johnson to “get off me” and “get out of my flat”.

He was obviously trying out a winning move based on "applying pressure" to use to get a deal from the EU
Needs a bit of work, perchance?

We know that now. The Westminster Bridge attackers were just a couple of men driving over Westminster Bridge until................... What could have been more innocent than men driving?

It's pi$$ easy to be wise after the event and to sit back and criticise after many more facts are known and in your possession.
It didn't stop you leaping to conclusions not merely about the event but the character of the woman too

Section 4 Public Order Act. It fits her a treat.
4 Fear or provocation of violence.

(a)uses towards another person threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour, or

(b)distributes or displays to another person any writing, sign or other visible representation which is threatening, abusive or insulting,

with intent to cause that person to believe that immediate unlawful violence will be used against him or another by any person, or to provoke the immediate use of unlawful violence by that person or another, or whereby that person is likely to believe that such violence will be used or it is likely that such violence will be provoked.

(2)An offence under this section may be committed in a public or a private place, except that no offence is committed where the words or behaviour are used, or the writing, sign or other visible representation is distributed or displayed, by a person inside a dwelling and the other person is also inside that or another dwelling.

(3)F1. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

(4)A person guilty of an offence under this section is liable on summary conviction to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 6 months or a fine not exceeding level 5 on the standard scale or both.

You might have fun trying to prove the intent clause.

(Funny how it says "he" - though likely there is some clause which says, "Hey, babe, he was a she" or some such.)

This was the first item on the ITV news tonight. How on earth have we got to the awful situation when someone like this is almost certainly going to become our PM. TM was absolutely hopeless but at least she wasn't a really nasty piece of work like BJ is.

It has been reported that they intend to move into Downing Street together if he is elected leader.

I sincerely hope not. The chancellor won't get his/her beauty sleep.

Oh! the Irony! in the Express
Brexit LIVE: Farage's Brexit Party to make ANOTHER Commons bid as Chris Davies axed
NIGEL FARAGE’S Brexit Party will make another Commons bid as Brecon and Radnorshi MP Chris Davies has been kicked out by his constituents.

A by-election has been sparked after 19 percent of the electorate voted to oust the Tory MP after he falsified expenses. The Brexit Party confirmed it will be contesting the seat. It said in a statement: “The sheer scale of the vote to force a recall and a by-election shows how strongly the level of dissatisfaction with politics in the country is rising up the agenda.

The recall petition opened automatically as Mr Davies was convicted of an offence related to his Parliamentary expenses. He tried splitting the £700 cost for photographs, he was entitled to claim for, across two office budgets by creating two fake invoices.

He was fined £1,500 and ordered to carry out 50 hours unpaid work after admitting submitting a false invoice and attempting to do so. Fraud charges against him were dropped.

Think about that, a Tory gets chucked out for being an Amateur at fiddling his expenses, and the worlds number one professional at that is fielding a candidate from a company he owns paid for by persons unknown that masquerades as a political party with no members only supported by a dubious Paypal subscription scheme.
Most likely he will succeed too.

After all as the saying goes , there are none so blind as they who will not see
