Anyway...another golden oldie, a VERY young Elton doing a poor impression of a grizzly bear cub...he obviously forgot the head bit... Forget the bear thing. BEFORE YOU LISTEN...just imagine Elton is the personification of a Tonaro...singing to Eddieo, try it. It works for me. Just to be clear...I laughed a bit.

'Provocative' title? I didn't read that into it, I just take it as a reference to a euphoric enthusiasts e-bike experience...not a call to engage the enemy. It's very similar language used by dealers on their websites, 'we sell the BEST E-Bikes' etc (and some other forum enthusiasts) ...I don't see that as provocative, its just opinion based on their observations, experiences enthusiasm and business aims. I think we all understand that and decipher the message. So maybe we should cut the enthusiasts some slack. I didn't say the Tonaro brand wasn't getting a fair hearing, in context, I said I wanted it to get a fair hearing, and one way it will continue to get a fair hearing is for enthusiast like Brian to continue posting, sorry if that wasn't clear. I like to hear from the logical technical people with their carefully calculated posts, I find that VERY helpful, AND I like to hear from people who may or may not have technical knowledge, but just love their bike, whatever the brand. Some have the ability to present facts and offer corrections, but lets not burst bubbles. Just to be clear, I'm not implying that you flecc, 'burst bubbles', its a general comment.

It's a bit slow to start, but well worth watching - right to the very end! I did feel a bit sorry for the security guard though, but he did become a national celebrity. Made me laugh - LOTS.

Hi Brian Sorry, I've just come across your PM, I note it was sent a few days ago. I can't seem to PM you, but wanted to reply. Hence the PublicPM Hey no probs, hope you feel you can start contributing to the forum again soon. I feel that the Tonaro needs to get a fair hearing, and your in put is invaluable for those of us who are trying to make sense of the E-Bike world and get feedback from owners. As I am not an engineer or technically minded and I rely on others here to inform me, which is great, but I also rely on getting 'happy vibes' from owners and users of E-Bikes like you. Please keep posting, for the sake of those who need to know about the benefits of the Tonaro's, and Crank Drive bikes. Hope to read you soon Graeme

Debatable! ;-) Depends what you mean by 'better'...better fuel consumption, or better insurance costs or...engineering and finish and dependability...the list goes on. The point is if I as a Mercedes owner trash BMW's in an arrogant manner and don't see how on earth anyone could see how a BMW could be anywhere near as good as my Merc, and then begin to trash 'them' because they like BMW's, and I belittle 'them' and present as fact my opinion of their 'pathetic little thoughts'...then Huston, we have a problem...'in my opinion'...

There is fact, and there's opinion, and that's a fact, in my opinion, or is it a fact whether it's my opinion or not...? Yes a fact is a fact for aw that. :-) Anyway, values are important to people and if what one values is completely trashed by others on the basis of opinion or arrogance or assumed superiority or whatever, IMO that's not good. But we don't always know where to draw the line...and that's a fact.

Dave Good to hear that your business is doing well. A crank drive with nexus hub gears throttle and 26 inch wheels, would be a welcome addition to your range, any leaning in that direction?
