i have one of the first BMS you list and it does do 30A comfortably.

When I bought a load of bike bits, got a random hub motor. Its 24V in a 20"? wheel and is threaded on both sides. Any ideas? Checks out on the tester, haven't had it in bits yet! Make me any offer if anyone wants it! Or just offer some info!

Is there a switch on the battery on the opposite side to the keyswitch? I've had a battery like this and there was a small black rocker switch for the light.

And Mr Angry is busy throwing tins of dogfood at me!

B&R one has a nexus hub, there's a couple of hundred quid there!

It doesn't matter if you wore a full cowboy outfit, Phill will probably agree that West Yorkshire especially the Bradford/Keighley area has a very special vintage of drivers. No indication, no insurance, no patience, using mobiles, illegally u-turning and no visible policing of any offence just for starters. So you have to ride with the expectation that the next junction you cross could potentially be your last, that's how you survive! It's not just cyclists in danger when drivers think that they can take on a bus! (excuse crap quality)
