July 8, 20169 yr It was not my intention to come over like a teacher, simply to provide you with some information. Ok why do you want out? lets consider that. Sorry, been out for a ride... OK, 1/ Uncontrolled free movement of people MAY NOT change when we are out, but it definitely WILL NOT change if we stay in. 2/ I watched the debates and found the remain side to be unnecessarily aggressive and personal toward the leaves (especially to BJ) 3/ I didn't like the calling them racist for wanting this control when they know that's not the case. 4/ The arrogance of Cameron and Osborne.. 5/ The unbelievable scare stories and threats which are unraveling day by day. 6/ The poles are saying people want to change their minds, but I dont believe a word of it, and we know how accurate polls are anyway I was in Llandudno recently and stopped for a sit in the sun and was approached by a remain activist. He was very nice and we had an interesting chat about how Wales gets more than they put in so should stay so as a country will probably vote in.. Then this old chap wandered up and stuck a finger in his chest and said.. "My dad was killed in the war fighting to stop the germans taking over and you want to hand it to them on a plate" And how did Wales vote? I read about how some multi billionaires have lost a million or two (on paper) and they cant be out of profit so jobs will have to go, but when my pension went tits up I was told that investments go down as well as up and when I took it out interest rates were 15% or so and now they are 2% so my promised £100 a week is only £20. Just a few thoughts, and no offence meant about the teacher thing, it was like you were giving me homework to read and then testing me on it.

The difficulty with all this is that the lies began when we joined the EU and blamed anything that went wrong on them, for year on year, even though the Government had signed on the dotted line to agree to the laws that were passed, and then When Cameron and Osborne tried to defend it after all the years of blaming it for everything, naturally no one believed them, as they are and always have been liars. The problem we have now is that once we are no longer protected by the many EU laws that cover paid holidays, health and safety and the environment, the Torys will treat us nothing more that willing mugs, even more than we are being treated already. As to the countries finances, most of the money is little more than imaginary and a way will be found to fudge it up somehow without doubt. You can be sure the rich will be richer and we poorer. My interest in that is minimal, but the welfare of fellow citizens is where my interest lies. I am not your enemy because i believe you voted in the wrong way but in the same boat that you are, and not liking what I see as likely to happen in the near future. The vote has literally driven us into the hands of our worst enemies, and the joke we can always vote them out sounds hollow right now. The government have already said that immigration may increase if they want it to, and I pointed out that they are incompetent to control it even though they have the power to do so. Who can we vote in instead? when none of them have to guts to say anything that is believable any more?

The real truth is that no one knows what will happen next.
July 8, 20169 yr There's always Corbin.. he seems to be trying to break the mold... The real truth is that no one knows what will happen next. I had hopes for him, but he needs to oppose Brexit to get my vote I'm afraid as that's where I believe the future lies in the EU It's true no one KNOWS what will happen next, what we do KNOW is we should not be in this situation but for Cameron being a complete fool and promising the referendum in order to win the General Election, and then making a complete balls up not just in his campaign, but running off afterwards to avoid any Blame, and that goes for Boris, Gove, Farage too.

I also had hopes for corbin but for the oposite reason. I think he is a leaver at heart but is not allowed to say so.
July 9, 20169 yr I also had hopes for corbin but for the oposite reason. I think he is a leaver at heart but is not allowed to say so. Unfortunately there is every reason to think that you are right! Which is why under him the Labour Party has rolled over and said OK, out we go. In other words we have become as we were in the days of New Labour A One Party State.
July 9, 20169 yr I also had hopes for corbin but for the oposite reason. I think he is a leaver at heart but is not allowed to say so. Jeremy Corbyn (with a y) said early in the campaign that he's 75% in favour of the EU, explaining that while he's not completely in favour of how it's run, he supports it in general. He is definitely not a leaver at heart. As the true left wing person that he is, that's hardly surprising, Europe being predominantly socialist. .
