    Kudos spare parts enquiry

Kudos aren't open at weekends I believe. You could phone them on Monday, a battery normally arrives a day after you order it, as for the rest of the bits you'd need to ask them.

    Bike for a taller rider

My bike would fit you, is road legal, well within your budget but doesn't have a throttle. Is a throttle a definite must?

    extra battery

Yes indeed, second battery in the panniers, 2 minutes to change over and back on the road.

    9000 bikes

The good thing about today's event was it was normal people from children of about 8 years to oldies looking like in their 70s. BTW you'd have been proud of the Kudos passing ALL of them on the hill up out of Linlithgow. Mind you when the road levelled out the faster ones beat me, even though...

    9000 bikes

9000 bikes came through my area today, I was out 'playing' on my usual Sunday route and ended up in the middle of the freshnlo Pedal for Scotland 2013 run. I was only amongst it for about 6 or 7 miles but it was impressive. There were males and females of all ages on the run which is 47...

Send it up here, I'll test it in the hills of Central Scotland. :)

What is the best legal crank drive bike available?

Which is why I don't think I'd buy a bike with a torque sensor. I love being able to pedal slowly at 15mph after a long climb. I don't do it very often but it's great to be able to when I fancy it.

    Wheel size

    Many thanks.

    Wheel size

How do you measure a wheel on a bike? My grandson's wheel measures 20" on a tape but the tyre on it says 24" x 2"

    Bafang 350W 48V rear motor - what's your view?

Although people say the chances of a rider being caught is slim, the consequences for them if caught can be quite severe. As a company I reckon you'd be in a tricky situation if one of your customers gets caught and appears in court. The first thing they'd say is " I bought it from a shop and...

    Life in the slow lane.

My town, Falkirk, is in the middle of a nice big new project, part of which is loads of cycle paths. some of these paths are allready constructed, they're about 9 feet wide and smooth and flat, with street lights. On Saturday I took my 7 year old Grandson to them. Now an E-bike is a bit of...

KTM wins Eurobike Gold award with eShopper carrier equipped Bosch motor.

I have a slight confession to make, being a Kudos rider. :) I actually have something in my panniers which charges my GPS or phone I don't need to charge the phone though but the GPS and my small camera can't last as long as the battery on the Kudos. It's a small solar powered charger...

    Sentimental Journey.

My local town has a project ongoing to build cycle paths and walkways and stuff. They've built some of the paths so far, about 9 feet wide with street lamps. I was down there a couple of days ago, it's heaven compared to my area. :) Cycling in Falkirk area - New cycle route in Scotland

    Sentimental Journey.

I'd love to cycle 33 miles and only rise by 5 metres. Actually I'd like to cycle 100 metres and only rise/fall 5 metres. :)

I must admit a nice glass of WATER after a hot ride in the Sun is good. ;)

Do you regularly wear a cycle helmet?

To be fair, I'd give a wide berth to a man wearing a blonde wig. :)

There is a courageous warrior lingering on here.

Well I've learned something new today, I never knew CTRL+F5 refreshed the page. Thanks. :)

It's very much the LONDON Olympics now!

Aye but you still drink Shandy. :) Seriuosly though, team GB are doing OK

Do you regularly wear a cycle helmet?

I've never done a survey, scientific or otherwise but in my area I'd reckon it's over 90% wearing them. You only see a non wearer very occasionally.

Half & half or just whole !

It's the ugliest thing I've seen. Since you'd need a Motorbike licence and insurance then need to register it then wear a proper motorbike crash helmet, you'd be much better off buying a proper motorbike.
