    The new best headlight

Well almost all my riding is done across a national border and on the other side they are no fun. So I wear a helmet (no problem now I have an expensive comfortable one) and all the equipment on the bike is to EU spec. I don't have much money, certainly not enough to throw away in fines and...

And the winner of understatement of the day is (drum roll)... This is going to make a great film I bet Hollywood is working on it already. But will it be a comedy or a political drama? Who will play the role of the 1%?

    The new best headlight

Wet blanket time again: In the UK, the regulations governing bicycle lights are set out in the Road Vehicles Lighting Regulations 1989 and their subsequent amendments, summarized in the Highway Code. The regulations require a white front light, a red rear light, a red rear reflector, and...

Now if you are in the Euro zone... oh wait... Something the EU has done well is insurance, and phone roaming charges, and... sorry I'll go take my pills now! But seriously since insurance competition has been opened up rates have gone down and coverage has gone up. Last time I went to modify...

Bloody Multistars that aren't in stock in the EU warehouse and you lot have heaps in stock... And they don't ship from the UK warehouse whereas the EU warehouse ships them to Ireland grumble grumble... That battery setup does look pretty nasty but well protected lipos are less likely to get...

Correction: Schengen didn't guard its borders France doesn't have borders with Schengen countries. So I guess they didn't fly in because France does guard its borders with non Schengen countries such as the UK. If you watched the news you would know that these people are entering via Greece...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

You have side stepped my question: Why the UK when they have been offered places to stay elsewhere? As for why you haven't sent bureaucrats to treat each person and say "Yes" or "No" to whether they can migrate to Britain, well one day that is going to blow up when the people of Calais and...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

It is very badly explained here what the EU is useful for and right wing politicians tend to say "oh it isn't us it's the EU to blame". Sound familiar? Called "passing the buck" in what flec calls English... :p So basically if your washing machine breaks down then it is the EU's fault...

It is well documented that they have decided to go to the UK. They have been offered asylum in other countries and less than 6% have said they may accept going to another country. Why the UK should be the question you are asking. Apparently come hell or high water including truck highjacking...

Are you are insinuating that the French aren't doing their job and stopping them from getting into the trucks? Or that the truck drivers scared silly by the fines and the risk of being sacked aren't controlling their trucks? When I look at the state of Calais there are quite a few that aren't...
