All that is certain is balancing with dumb BMS only happens above 4.15v. Only smart bms or pre- programmed dumb BMS are able to balance at lower voltage, the latter aren't common. The LG BMS on the Swizzbee only allows charging to 4.15v so balance occurs at a lower voltage.

Charge it till you have 2 or 3 bars showing then leave it till the night before and do a full charge. Battery won't go out of balance just because you do a partial charge before a full balance charge, balancing issues will only occur if you don't carry out full charges.

For phase I use MT60's with insulating shrouds, if thinking of using double check how you wire them as it is easy to put the shrouds on incorrectly.

Most Likely you need to visit a Bosch retailer if a cell group has drained below lvc then it (bms) won't switch on /allow charging to occur.

Show is a pic of the bikes front brakes/forks, it may be possible to upgrade the front one with a hydraulic brake for a marked improvement.

There is enough space in BBS01 for larger awg wiring it only needs to be 14 awg to handle 25a.
