February 14, 20188 yr Author Yoga is a tricky one. I have been very lucky, in that my yoga teacher is also my chiropractor. The class is a very chilled afair, with a lovely bunch of people. The teacher understands the limitations of what each of us can or can't do, and that helps greatly. Sadly, it can take a while to find a class that you might enjoy.
February 14, 20188 yr Thanks for your good wishes. I do some walking with my son but had also thought about YOGA to supplement my cycling but had not got further than the thinking bit. This might be the spur required. Sounds like Eddie's got the right idea oggling the girls , on the pretext of extra fitness classes .
February 14, 20188 yr Sounds like Eddie's got the right idea oggling the girls , on the pretext of extra fitness classes .I also do yoga. It is fantastic for your body. Balancing up so above kind of thing would be better. You notice where you need more. It is the "boring"/though exercises. Keep doing them! [emoji3] Sent from my eBike through Tapatalk
February 16, 20188 yr That looked fun argoose. Following my off, I did a 24 mile round trip to work including 14 off road miles yesterday with no ill effects so I must have pulled rather than torn my hamstring and it is improving very quickly. It is obviously a bit tight and painful on occasion but I notice this more when walking rather than riding. I will have to remember to stretch my leg muscles more frequently but I find it easy to forget.
February 16, 20188 yr The wet roots were a bit 50p , 5p. had a lot on start of week, was glad to get out. planned on riding Twrch trail at cwmcarn, but trail diversions and team Saracen with Danny Hart having a session there saw me back on local tracks. Alternating hot and cold compress's Along with ibuprofen should ease the pain.
February 17, 20188 yr FoD today, 21 miles of clingy riding. Great fun. No pics from the ride so this will have to do.
February 17, 20188 yr I no longer dink due to reasons, but it did equate to 1 Dominos pizza... you can get 2l of vodka for 20 quid
February 18, 20188 yr Lies Damned lies and statistics 16 miles off mostly off road route to work used 32% of my battery giving a theoretical range of 50 miles from my 400Wh battery. 10 miles home on the road used 40% giving a theoretical range of 25 miles Edited February 18, 20188 yr by georgehenry

February 18, 20188 yr My above post was slightly misleading. I am undoubtedly more tired after work for my ride home. However I allow more time for for xc route to work and ride in a very different way. I ride in eco and for a few sections where gradients allow have the motor off. Off road I am enjoying my surroundings and the technical nature of some of the tracks with no interest in higher speeds. Well a bit, there is a steep downhill section with a loose surface which I career down and have glanced at the speed to see well over 20mph, but the motor is off for that bit. For the ride home on the road I want to aim to average 20mph +or- a mile an hour and use the higher standard power setting to get me up steeper hills quicker to keep my average up but inevitably use more battery. I bought my bike to commute to work and back on and needed it be able to cope with my off road route and also be a good road bike for getting home . Inevitably there are compromises. If I just used it off road I would have lower gearing and off road specific tyres run at lower pressures. But overall it manages to fulfill both roles really well. My bike is one month shy of three years old now with 8382 miles covered. I feel like I am starting to get a bit of value now for my initial outlay of £1750.
February 19, 20188 yr We got a serious amount of snow now! First time I really needed my new 4.8" tyres
February 19, 20188 yr We got a serious amount of snow now! First time I really needed my new 4.8" tyres We had enough powdery hail/snow for the road to be white for about ten minutes a week or two ago. And that is it so far. Had been hoping even my 2.6" tyres might have had a job to do at some point. :-(
February 24, 20188 yr Fixed my electrical installation a little today, removed throttle and brake sensors, now there was no problems fitting the controller and leftover cables in the saddle bag and close the lid correctly! Very nice! (don't look too much at the battery installation, that frame was not there before a crash I had)
February 26, 20188 yr I did two full laps of the Verderers, then a third up to Swallowvallets and onto Launchpad and Countdown. And then Countdown again.
February 26, 20188 yr will get up there when weather breaks. brother has been fancying FOD for a while. I've only done the DH trails on a non ebike. 8)
