It's a standard Chinese ebike with all the normal standard interchangeable/upgradeable components. I would have said the price is about right, though £300 would be more like it for me, considering that you you can buy new ebikes for the same price from halfords:

Be mindful rim brakes see a LOT more wear as do wheel rims requiring more frequent adjustment of pads and monitoring when fitted on a bike with pedal assistance. Disk brakes are far superior, and after making this err myself with my rim brake donor bike for conversion I would urge you to avoid the issue. I make it work with a brake check b4 every trip which can be a minor pita..

It will be speed controlled so level 1 about 8mph, level 2 about 12mph and level 3 15.5mph.

The power is always max in each level so tbh one will likely use level 3 other wise one will be going up and down to often.

That is standard for many bikes in countries like Denmark and Holland. Common enough in Germany that I think of them in German (Rückbremsen) despite my German being very very rusty. It allows people with relatively little hand strength to get good braking. I hate it, as do most people not brought up on it. It makes it difficult to get the pedals in the right place to start. If you look online you will probably find instructions for disabling it. There are two rear brakes, in the hub (the backbrake one) and the V brakes. The lever will be operating the V-brake

That is an incredibly cheap bike but as Dave has pointed out, you can get a brand new one from Halfords for the same money being asked for this second hand one.

The battery is pretty small at 8.5 Ahr. My little Argos 20 inch folder has that size battery and I find I can go about 25 miles or so if I run it in the middle assist level and about 19 at level 3 which corresponds to about 15 mph assist speed.

One thing about it that would not suit me (or maybe, more accurately, my location) is that the bike has no gears. I expect that this will likely mean it has a pretty low overall gear ratio, and that your legs will be spinning at 15 miles an hour. That's a guess mind - you can work it out by counting the gear teeth on the crank and freewheel. It wouldn't be a great bike for a hilly area. It is assisted of course, but depending on the controller, you might likely need to put in some effort on steep gills, and with only one gear, I can imagine you might end up on a bad hill, having to get off and push it because you can't keep the pedals turning.

I like the chain guard. Love them.

Thank you. This one has a nexus 3 speed. And it's no problem on hills.

Before EVERY trip??!? What happens when you don't? Does the angle of the pads change? Mine stay in position until I adjust the brake cable, tightening every so often as the pads wear down. Might be due to extreme nut tightening using my freakish brute strength.
