Which UK couriers will ship a battery?
The Powabyke lithium batteries i've come across have been a bit unusual, being assembled in a 10S3P config. with no BMS using Sanyo 2000mah cells. AFAIK they remained like this for many years of production, so must have been tested and passed as safe. There are those who refer to BMS's as "battery murder systems" and direct or bulk charge their battery packs. Have a look on ES for more info on this.

Battery/BMS Peculiarity
Not come across this issue before, I would advise you live with it if the battery is otherwise working/charging OK. BMB Battery sell a replacement BMS to fit the bottle case, but may not be a plug and play replacement. https://bmsbattery.com/home/1063-18291-lithium-bms-system-for-bottle-battery-with-5v-usb.html#/107-cells_in_series-10

This image shows how the motor sits in a standard frame. This is how it is likely to sit on your frame, maybe a little higher. It's only the screw and clip in the way, the cable will pass through the gap.

Bike cutting out when battery on 3 bars
I've used strong neodymium magnets to hold the wires onto the nickel strip to charge strings of cells with good success. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/174130047036?_trkparms=ispr%3D1&hash=item288af5a83c:g:32wAAOSwWSJefb0W&amdata=enc%3AAQAGAAACoPYe5NmHp%252B2JMhMi7yxGiTJkPrKr5t53CooMSQt2orsSDAeS9EQtjPGVfKXTxF0%252BjpzXiQodu%252F5IZZxdOoGFTzddxZJYLZIg9KSljvBeWgNWzxuZSDiiW8nS0sjXow6TG14F0WZ%252FCc%252F044Tv3FEnxw1%252FugGYQveDba58iQiVvVn3P6shM74LbTrjNmHq22QmcMfvIRg8BANITHNwVLq9teFjlsKfInuPpGXzBAFeevbAc3Bppslbr0AZLUfV7rlTm44oAMqYYTSpYoSeN0u1cdJXsVoinVDytoPsFj0zs3pVuKAldpC%252FF9NcoGyk1EDGAn1pBNjAJchgYAed1HWpJDPZm%252FK3EN1gloUyNN7WtYEhfOou34xeSnqNSoIIzkVmE8GVHCc9hIuVC0vucqnIYSmDW0masmVqLlOTrBbM6bB91KGBjVjenQePMZh%252BUyseaxrGu2l3gsst9dv4qpNeJr4GwbpJcikpj56yE7cE%252B6Vk6T%252BUPCvfUs6o%252FpCEt4WVZbwWUNhSEKsCCv8addq9bBJ7EDFvSb0hmf7cdp336MdDV1k%252FnGOFdFH94%252FYk%252BpdF8ecIF%252FNNZGEenuuOO%252BdlhURhuekdSSFZxLXTtGMXDXKkBvcMjnlQOZKWoW9IZv3W%252BdXk%252BGGLyem3UoBHFiMEFsqrbPq42cI5L0UFP5LOxhRcWrJ1Vi4GunJxM08WofpRUHAEFSJ4F1ttKdi%252Bm1bCOUwS926cW680p7%252FYuvihb60tnNhVAaQkT7S9X4HbtI6aJyF%252BII7ifrFLgdlI6RtQv%252FW%252F2d%252ByQ7Qr4UAXswCpC5MiwKDrW1nYy7r9JDc3DSSeWKpAmPyYrUJLumn084HBSvPCt%252BSuWA0zBPuEPHnAoRrxhUmSoU5nD2V5PzJ%252B%252BQtr3Q%253D%253D%7Cclp%3A2334524%7Ctkp%3ABFBM6vHDsLxf

Bike cutting out when battery on 3 bars
53.1v is low for a fully charged 48v battery, which could mean it's out of balance. You need a multi meter to read the charger and battery voltage, essential bit of kit for an ebike owner. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/363630370517?_trkparms=ispr%3D1&hash=item54aa0f1ed5:g:iP8AAOSwkINhm0Qu&amdata=enc%3AAQAGAAACoPYe5NmHp%252B2JMhMi7yxGiTJkPrKr5t53CooMSQt2orsS5%252FLJbfonbQUYd49AU1AJY7fiJpg%252Fqrnjp%252BVBqw4zX8NmBEl3Uvsut%252BdA3LoqzWcrRsyGnb4zy9oeOnQBJaxRg4K0eWRgZvcoOFsEs6zdEZTBSiEwvJl0nxV9v9BwxiFnv3zbn%252FQL2YIiKoymz9aMUJjWGfDXKyF%252Brj%252F%252FmoU%252BP3FW1ym1kUKw4wq4F61l9CM9QcSliqf6xB9Z77KBG8WyM2%252BVRxp3NzBhjgAiCh1tUMToGK2m6Ltgjom8rWFb0zAkGn1R5wxISoDrtWFLwYQ4oMWntoqerfLBbS%252F1Qjb8XfHRFg8pSPgTP992T7yCQYip7pnpXHBJoC3kbXi6LI0olXw9hDpvsllZDxkSAJ8%252FRwdmX3HDLqO9n6rVC%252FpL4vrSoqSRsRDuS8rUT0Z0zDd9F7UbpEMthL2CyjcPI25%252BmnLWmI5akZdrrXhpahEY0HRzr%252Bb2UZ1qIv57u3rSzlFkU78AhRPWbAFAC5d2upPYJuGDKOD%252BVUc0bqO8%252FZpVVX3f913uRKwGQlc%252FSROBf9viwSyl2LwS%252Fkpti4mlxXTWVjBh9dQEIF%252F5JtFwWSDSg2RDABYK7OkGmziP82XqqrCfYbvbAo3H1RuC9%252B5%252F52iU9%252BC%252BwRXrD14vzt04kMefa%252BW66ZgUATGB%252FyfIwjID%252Bj6xqXGo%252B6llLedIFVPg70GH964fRcRHdLrb%252Ft1IJZ7r2YtXwuMgH%252FmnxijKy%252B0ZbEhpISLLw986eh31GS5dXHtPnl6nZ6D1b3y7ZbfVPeNTyl%252FOdkx9UxvwkWW6kkcloS4E3xthzLHe6%252Bvey8jJ0QC7f25tTL%252B4%252Fr1tCvToOPUa1eEH3xk%252FAr7bYXUS%252FDMvBJhEVA%253D%253D%7Cclp%3A2334524%7Ctkp%3ABFBMmqDR5Llf

Any small, independent motorcycle shop will also be worth a try as your brakes are very similar to older petrol mopeds, pit bikes and small motorcycles. Both brakes prob. just need a full strip, cleaning and reassembling and the cables checked, an easy job for a motorcycle mechanic. They will sort your chain out at the same time.

2014 705 classic - help required
I agree, Wisper offer a good spares supply for their old bikes going back 10 years or so, and even when parts become unavailable, the bikes are easily and fairly cheaply converted to run KT controllers and displays to keep them going. i've bought 3 back from the dead so far and never have a problem finding them a new deserving home.

2014 705 classic - help required
The hole for the plug in the top of controller compartment under the battery is in the wrong place to match the silverfish case, hence needing to enlarge the hole. I've not done this myself as I recelled the original Wisper case with a 5S10P soft pack, but it's an option if you don't feel able to solder a pack into the old case.

2014 705 classic - help required
I've just refurbed one of these for a friend of mine, great bike. The silverfish case will fit in the frame cradle, but you may find the male pins in the battery base plate will not line up, meaning you will need to modify the aluminium plate under the mount for it to fit. Depending on your skill level, the battery pack from a silverfish case will fit inside the Wisper case.

Ask E-rider for info about tyre pressures and chain replacement. You will need to remove the old indicator bulb to find which type you need.

Be careful though, there are several different case types that all look very similar and the bases are all different and don't interchange. If you already have a battery, post some photos of the top, bottom and sides of the case and base.

ERider moped Help
As said, no need to charge after a short ride every time, you have a large capacity battery, but your bike will obviously use more power than a normal ebike due to weight and only running on throttle. I would go on 2 or 3 short rides of say 3-4 miles without charging, noting your combined mileage, then rest the battery for 30 mins, then take a voltage reading. This will help you judge your power consumption. Recharge when your down to around 47v.
